Terrible service
I bought a bathroom from Huys Grey (Nuffield Rd Cambridge branch). The planning stage was easy and the guy really helpful. However, the bathroom itself was another story - arrived with bits missing or the wrong bits (for example the bath feet and the bath screen), took a lot of chasing to deliver the right parts and several phone calls to get the wrong parts collected. Took a lot longer for my fitters to fit anything because they couldn't do it in a logical fashion due to all the parts that were missing. They also reported to me that staff were really rude to them in the shop (in fact they reported it to the manager after one visit). The toilet then leaked due to a faulty part which the branch refused to give the plumber for free (costs around £1 and Plumb Centre which he often uses gave it to him for free) and were appparently quite rude. As a result of the faulty part, the panel behind the toilet had started to rot and had to be replaced - the fitters used another panel they had but I can tell it's a slightly different colour. The doors on the unit also don't fit very well. I did get good service from the other Cambridge branch where I bought the taps. However, I wrote to head office several months ago to complain and to ask for compensation as I had to pay for extra time for the fitters to return when the right parts were delivered + to fix the damage caused by the faulty part) but I didn't even get a reply so it seems the bad attitude comes from the top. I'm unlikely to use Huys Grey again.
