AVOID - can’t complete remortgage in THREE months.
AVOID. Truly incompetent people and company. If I could give minus stars, I would. There is nothing ‘premier’ about this company. Because of this company, we are not going to complete our remortgage in time. They’ve had our file for 8 weeks and 1 week before completion they decide our deeds don’t meet lenders requirements despite this being raised SEVEN weeks ago. I have had to do all the leg work. I have had to make first contact each time for updates. Slow responses, emails clearly not being read properly. I even had to send copies of my own deeds because they had left it too late! Initial call was cancelled due to conveyancer illness, then I rescheduled with said conveyancer and then they emailed me to ask when we could reschedule despite us having already done this a week earlier. We are very stressed that as a result of it being highly unlikely to complete by 1st July, we will be put on the SVR and lose £500 a month we can’t afford. I am disgusted that I started this process in JANUARY with our mortgage broker and Premier Property Lawyers having our file since APRIL and waiting for confirmation since May that we were set to complete. No sense of urgency, no clear knowledge, unprofessional, disorganised and frankly, lazy. I an highly anxious about how we’re going to afford this with days to spare to figure it out. This has caused me serious anxiety as someone who is extremely organised hence starting the remortgage process well in advance.
