Nearly perfect
When it comes to tech support - on those rare occasions something goes wrong - Zen folk are simply in a class of their own. Occasionally you get a 'doom loop' where what looks like an automated reply gets inserted into a live chat and tells you to do a whole load of things to fix a problem, when, er, yes, I've already done those....But a quick call - and speak to a human! - and one who can actually help! - gets you sorted. Why have I deducted a star? Because all of the problems I've had have been the fault of OpenReach, who are the absolute, utter pits, lying to me (and Zen) that they were in the 'process of fixing your fault' when they actually hadn't done anything (and it's OR management to blame, the people who come and fix things are great, but there's not enough of them) And Zen seems to have no control or influence over OR whatsoever, OR just do (or don't) their thing when they feel like it The other issue is that we're surrounded by areas which have FTTP via VM/nexfibre, Gigaclear and OR but none of these fibre provideers have plans to do our road, on the edge of a small town. Zen apparently can't influence their partners OR, Trooli, CityFibre etc to 'fibre our road' even though the take up would be virtually 100% and they're building in the area. And Zen can't even tell me if any of their partners have any plans to connect us, ever.....(and yes, I have asked multiple times)
