Terrible experience
Terrible experience. Had a delivery for a bed to a house that is currently not lived in. Receive message day before stating delivery will be between 3pm and 5pm. I organise for a relative to be there at 2:30 to wait for the parcel. Delivery guys call me at 12:45 to say they will be there in the next hour, I appreciate the call ahead but its over an hour early? Delivery guys turn up just after 2 and my relative arrives as soon as she can at 2:15, but they had already left. Charged £30 for missed delivery. This obviously frustrated me but I took it on the chin and rescheduled delivery. New delivery date (2 weeks later), text in AM stating delivery between 3:30pm and 5:30pm. Another text at 16:14 stating ETA of 16:48. No one turns up, so I call the driver at 5pm to see if hes arriving soon. “No sorry be with you in about an hour.” So now we are having to re arrange my evening to make sure I don’t miss the delivery and get charged a second time. We wait an hour, no one turns up, so I call again. I get told another 40 minutes. Now my girlfriend has had to miss out on her brothers birthday meal out just to make sure we dont miss this delivery. I know it clearly states delivery slots arent always 100% accurate but come on! I came to terms with the first delivery but to have this happen on the second time has really left me extremely frustrated and disappointed.
