I was a customer of Be Smart Utilities for about three years paying £29 a month and in that time I didn’t need to claim. Recently we had a problem with our hot water. An engineer visited us and diagnosed it as the diverter was faulty and we were told that it wasn’t covered. Obviously very disappointing. After talking to a plumber who visited my work and telling him my story he was very surprised that it wasn’t covered. He looked up the part on eBay, sent me the link and I ordered it for £27. He then came around and fitted it in 15 minutes. Very unhappy with the service that I received and subsequently have cancelled my policy. Having said that the customer service was fine and the telephone operators were very polite and apologetic
