Home had no heat.
Our family of 12 arrived at Honey Bear Haven only to find that the heat was out. When they sent someone to check on it, he told us the heat had been out for over a week. Not only did they knowingly send us to a house with no heat, we had to spend an extra $700 to stay in a hotel the first night of our 5 night stay. They did find us another house by noon the next day. Even though there were not enough beds for our family of 12 and only 2 bathrooms, we felt we had no choice but to stay there. We ask for compensation for our troubles. We wanted payment for the hotel rooms and first night rental for the unheated house. Long story short, we did not receive full compensation. I am very disappointed that first they sent us to a house with no heat and then would not fully compensate us. Had they tried to make things right in a timely manner and apologized I would not be writing this.
