Taylor Wimpey awful aftersales
I moved into my Brand new Taylor Wimpey house on 24th September last year. I’ve been waiting over five months to have a Snag resolved. This snag was highlighted within the first week of moving in. I’ve called & E Mailed on countless occasions and complained. I’ve been told they have been ‘ Logged ‘ many times, but I’m still waiting. Eventually after several months a Plumber arrived and said he wasn’t quite sure how to resolve it and left my property. Never to be seen again. After more chasing and complaining, Martin and the Site Manager ( Gilden Park , Old Harlow ) came around and said they promise to get it sorted and agreed it was very badly fitted. Then they left and never contacted me again about it. The top of the Toilet Cistern is about an inch away from the wall. It looks awful. I can fit my whole hand behind it ? The Plumber who was sent over also damaged the plaster board behind it, whilst he was tinkering about with the Cistern. I called to complain and Was told a plasterer and plumber would be arranged to arrive together to carry out the work. Nobody has ever since contacted me to arrange this ? I filled out a customer feedback form and said I was dissatisfied and I’ve included a photo, to show that Martin was supposed to be investigating the issue and correcting it. This never happened. He’s useless and doesn’t care about the customers. It’s soo frustrating and Very poor aftersales service as I shouldn’t have to continually chase TW to get the snagging carried out. I’m still currently chasing them with phone calls and E mails, still nothing being done. Out of frustration I’ve posted all my concerns on FB, on several different sites and it’s amazing how many people have had a similar experience with TW. It’s extremely poor and unprofessional and I really hope after five long, draining months we can get this sorted. I’ve been advised to complain to NHBC and Consumer Code. It’s a shame that a single issue has caused all this bad feeling.
