Some years ago I would have given…

Some years ago I would have given Archive.org 4 or even 5 stars, but at this time I can't even recommend it anymore. Even if one is lucky enough to find this site under an occasional victorious uptime, one won't be able to continue working as it will go down within minutes or even seconds and stay down for a long time coming up for a minute or two and before you finish entering one single URL into the Wayback Machine, it will be down again. What is the most upsetting that I have donated money to the WB Internet Archive and the owner of the Archive.org wrote that I was one of the few who was donating money to WB. I donated for the god job it was doing, with a rare occasional downtime, it was still reasonable to use it. Not anymore. When WB went into almost continuous downtime for days and weeks etc. I stopped donating. The money request pop ups also stopped lately. Perhaps because they are in trouble or are shutting down its operation? Perhaps they are unable to finance their operation anymore or perhaps the almost continuous downtime is even allegedly intentional (though unlikely), especially to those who did not donate "enough", I don't know. But as it seems Archive.org is probably going down and will probably close ts doors soon. I hope I am wrong. If WB is unable to finance their operation anymore they should make it a paid service for a small monthly fee such as $1 to $3 a month so that everyone can afford it. Otherwise it's such a waste of time and resources to have an Archive that is unusable anymore. I need to record my URLs and docs somewhere and I will not be coming back to or relying on Archive.org Wayback Machine anymore. We need to find a serious alternative to Archive.org or the so-called globalists have to create one from UN funds or something like that, cause it is a very important service. Two stars (instead of one) because it was useful in the past.
