Do not use Budget!
When I collected the car it was dark and raining so difficult to see any scratches or marks on the vehicle. I tried to take photos of any visible marks before driving off but the quality wasn't good. On returning the vehicle, the guy spotted a scratch on the rear passenger side. It wasn't a deep scratch, and was about 30 cms long. I did not have any scrapes that would have caused it and the car was never parked anywhere where it could have been damaged by another vehicle. Anyway, I received the invoice for damage repair today and it has been taken from my credit card. The bill was over £700 with VAT. Absolutely disgusting. How on earth it could cost that i dont know!. It could have been fixed with TCut. Totally scam artists. Luckily I have insurance with a 3rd party and I'm hoping to get the amount back but it has really put me off renting a car again and would definitely not use or recommend Budget. The Budget staff at Dublin Airport are all extremely miserable and rude as well, and do not explain anything. If I could give zero stars I would!
