Trade with Pat's rule based logic applies consistently whether I am running it on majors or on Gold, and I did not need separate set files for each pair since the pre optimized defaults worked across the board. User controlled lot sizing let me size each pair according to its own volatility.

I won't pretend I loved every trading rule when I first read them. The consistency requirement and minimum trade duration looked restrictive on paper. After trading under those conditions for several weeks, though, I started understanding why they existed. Instead of chasing one oversized winning trade, I became more focused on building steady performance over multiple sessions. I also stopped jumping in and out of positions just because I felt impatient.
