Zima Dental

My retainer cleaner from Zima dental is a game changer. It cleans perfectly and now I have to take it on holidays with me as just brushing my retainers feels so wrong now as this cleaner is really clean and I feel like I can’t wear my retainers any other way now. I actually bought a Zima ‘Go’ small cleaner now to take away so see how that goes. I had a delivery problem with one of the deliveries and the team were super helpful in resolving the issue. Actually it turned out to be my fault but we didn’t realise. While we were working it out the team at Zima reassured me and I’m very grateful and impressed with their customer service and in fact the whole product.

I ordered a dental pod for my aligners and could immediately see it working. Even though my aligners are new, after a cycle in the dental pod even without a tablet, you can see all sorts of detritus in the water. I had trouble getting the QR code to work for the warranty, but one email to customer service and they responded very quickly and gave me a number to add to the information. Voila- It went through. Very happy so far.

Radiation therapy after cancer surgery damaged my jaw bones five years ago. As a result, I began using dental appliances nightly to apply fluoride toothpaste on my teeth to reduce the risk of cavities and disease that might require surgery or tooth removal. Over those five years I noticed my appliances sustained debris buildup and stains that could not be removed by brushing. Admittedly, I was skeptical when I watched the video promoting the Zima Dental cleaner. But I was desperate and I was willing to try anything that might extend the life of my appliances while removing potential disease-causing buildup. I received the Zima Dental pod a few days after ordering it and began experimenting to find the best technique to clean my badly stained and damaged appliances. During one session I left them in the solution an additional five minutes after the normal 5-minute cycle was completed. During another session I removed the appliances, washed them off, cleaned the Zima Dental pod, put a new tablet in fresh water, and repeated the 5-minute cycle. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly my appliances became soft, pliable, & nearly transparent again.

I've only had my bite plate (like a clear retainer) for less than a month, but started having nightmares about a device staying in my mouth all day/night, taking it off to eat, etc and the potential for it to smell, get gross, layer my teeth with film, etc. This gives me a little more peace of mind of my device staying clean. I've been going with the tablets once a day (in the morning after I've been wearing it all night) and they are nice and minty. I also got the to go case to keep in my bag for a quick clean while out of the house. I just rinse it under water for a bit and pop it for the one minute cycle.
