UNRELIABLE, BAIT AND SWITCH, DISHONEST SERVICE
AVOID WISKERY – EXTREMELY UNRELIABLE EXPERIENCE Based on my personal experience, I would not trust Wiskery with your money or your reputation. While they appear to be a local business, they have moved 100% online with no physical address and a disconnected phone number, communicating only via WhatsApp—a setup that I find highly concerning for high-value transactions. My experience was a classic bait-and-switch encounter that nearly jeopardized a high-importance event: The Request: I ordered a limited edition 25yo Arran single malt (3380RM) for a prized auction. I requested guaranteed availability three times, which they confirmed, stating the bottle was in their "warehouse." It was to be the centerpiece of our event. The Sudden Change: One day before pickup, they hit me with a 1,000RM price increase over the advertised price, claiming it was originally listed "below cost." Why would you list on your website below your purchase price??? They then followed up by stating it was "no longer available" and attempted to push a different bottle on me. The Inconsistency: When I expressed my outrage at their non-compliance with repeated GUARANTEES and said I would take my business elsewhere, the bottle magically "became available" again. I find this behavior to be unacceptable and unprofessional. Because of these shifting stories, I lost all confidence in their ability to deliver and was forced to cancel and redo time-sensitive marketing materials (banners, posters, etc.). I personally would not gamble 3,300–4,300RM with an entity that has no physical presence and provides conflicting information about stock. Save your money and your sanity—deal with a transparent, reputable retailer instead.
