Installed a 7k dollar door in 2020

Installed a 7k dollar door in 2020, 2 years later a piece from the internal door handle mechanism broke which fortunately was under warranty. Piece they fixed in 2022 has now broke again in 2024. West shore refuses to cover the service fee on this piece that keeps breaking. Had to explain this to 3 different reps 3 different times and all just wanted to set me up a service call. And I told them I was not paying the service fee but it’s like this company is completely deaf or maybe just greedy is a better description. I finally told the last person that called to stop calling me unless west shore was willing to resolve this or work with us on the service call price. The one year warranty on it is complete bs and an “I gotcha” moment. We will never recommend west shore until they cover that cheap ass part that keeps breaking at 2 years which is of course outside of their 1 yr warranty. All this company cares about is making money and when there’s a problem like this well it’s just tough to be you but they don’t care!

It was poor they lie tell you there…

It was poor they lie tell you there coming time and time again and you give them a timeline also don't have material they should have and keep on and on and you can't see the contract why not and then tell you to pay a incurred costs fee or materials fee which is a hefty fee they need to pay for your time you loose and lies because you can check out other companies someone needs to report there tactics to the BBB I told the guy on and on it was to much he called and called I had to send a registered letter after telling him I had to go out of town and he was still calling to see if needed to call the people that set up the time to come to my house they wouldn't quit

Both Issac B and Isaiah K.

Both Issac B. and Isaiah K. worked at my home and installed the new shower in my hallway bathroom. It came out better than I expected it to look and both men were courteous and considerate in helping me remove items from the old shower due to me being unable to do so by myself. I would hight recomend them working in your home at any time.

We love our new shower!

We love our new shower! Trent, our design consultant was a pleasure to work with. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions and explained the process, so we knew what to expect. Wendell & Alexander, our install team were amazing! They worked great together, very quiet and they cleaned up along the way. We are thrilled with our West Shore Home shower and would recommend them for your shower remodel. I recently submitted a glowing review

I recently submitted a glowing review. That was minutes after they left. Most of that changed over the next few days. Our salesperson lied to our faces on several safety issues. Safety was mentioned over and over by us as the reason for the tub to shower conversion. Anyone who wants to know all of the details before making the mistakes we did with WestShore can contact me. RUN. Customer service ends when they get the money.

Wonderful experience

My husband had a mild stroke recently and his safety became a priority. It was getting more difficult for him to use our 16" height bathtub. We consulted with Alexis with West Shore. She had the right answers to our needs. A few days later, the West Shore crew (Keanu, Susant, Noah and Ira) showed up with our selections. They were very efficient leaving us with a beautiful and safer new bathroom. We were pleased to be informed that there was no water or mold damage. There was also a special gift from Jackson as he was checking up on their performance and our satisfaction. Thank you West Shore.

salesman told me 1 day turn around

salesman told me 1 day turn around. 3 days later i was able to use my bathroom. My tube would not drain i called them they sent out their plumber. I was told it was just one of those things. I told him my old bath worked just fine with zero problems draining. He packed up and left when i told him that. He was shown videos and photos of the old bath working correctly. Afterwards I found a water leak and where their plumber was at my home he had also cut up some of my flooring and left a big hole. I called again they sent someone to fix the water leak but the flooring is still damaged. Also i have water damage to my down stares from the water leak. the GM did call me after me calling for over 2 weeks. He (Gene) told me the water not draining was not their problem yet it worked just fine before I paid 14K Also he said he would send someone to make repairs on the water damage and flooring. That was 2 weeks ago and nobody will return my phone call. My guess is once they have your money they do not care nothing about you.

Cannot trust this company

First installer took off for being sick. Second one came in and yelled at me for asking a question. What his supervisor and salesman promised was not what I saw. When I complained to the customer service, the second guy picked up and left leaving unfinished bathroom. I complained to his supervisor and he came back the same day to finish. Westshore is a hot mess. Customer service is dreadful. Avoid!!!

Third times the charm shower installation…

This is my third shower installation and I could not be more satisfied with the results. This last installation was a semicustom and I had come concerns about reusing the glass. The installers, Dexter and Thadius made sure the measurements were the same so we could use the old door and glass. They arrived on time and was ready to start the project. They were careful about tracking trash and dirt and cleaned very well when finished. They did a great job and the shower looks wonderful.

Be wary of Westshore.

I used Westshore to install a new shower and it was very nice until I needed to have the caulking redone because it was of poor quality. It has been less than 2 years since the install was done. I was told that ANY repairs were included in the price ($14,000+) but when I called for repair to the caulking I was informed there would be a service charge for the guy to come out. This really should not be happening for what I spent on this shower installation. Far too expensive to not have the follow through they promised.

We had our master shower completely replaced

We had our master shower completely replaced & the result was beautiful! However, we were told by the sales rep that they would not only replace the shower, but would be replacing damaged areas due to the shower leak. Unfortunately, we were left with trying to dry it out ourselves over night. Also, during the install, tiles were broken in front of the shower & one of the workers stepped through the subfloor & through our first floor ceiling & dropped a hammer that broke our first floor tile. They also tilted the threshold of the shower the wrong way & didn't put on the bottom trim piece. The lead installer lied that West Shore would be handling all the damage that was caused to our property. But, when the company was contacted we were told that we would be responsible for purchasing the replacement tiles & it was not their problem. He also told us that our finance company would not be charged until all damages were repaired and completed but they put the charge through right away. Thankfully the man, Luis, that was sent to do the repairs was GREAT! He did everything necessary to clean up the mess that the original installers left. Be sure to read the fine print in West Shore's contracts.

Excellent

We had our tub and shower redone on 5-15-24. the guy who did the work were awesome , friendly and very professional. I will definitely recommend to our friends. These 4 men were awesome. Neil Barrett , David , Orlando Rios, and Scott Roustio. J-457264. Thank you for the wonderful new bath and shower. You guys Rock !!!

Westshore Business Tactics

I just got off the phone with Westshore and I was trying to explain to them about delays that I’ve had due to cancer treatment and asking them what are my options. I signed the contract in October and there have been numerous delays due to my treatment and the woman that I spoke with said that I have an option of canceling, but it’s going to be a 35% cancellation fee. I’ve already given the company over $4000 for the remodeling of a bathroom upstairs. And I was told that i would be forfeiting the deposit because it’s only a three day window to cancel the contract. Plus, they said I may owe them more money because of the fact that the down payment I gave them 30% so I may owe them another 5%. So With the ongoing cancer treatment, I am sort of between a rock and a hard spot because I don’t know if I should just cancel out and eat the $4000 or go ahead and proceed with the project. I’m upset about the fact that they’re playing such hardball on this when in fact, my cancer diagnosis came out of the blue. I’m concerned about dealing with a company that appears to be somewhat heartless in regards to the difficulties that life can throw at one. So I’m not sure what to do. Move forward with the project or cancel?

Absolute scams

Absolute scams. They use bully tactics and way over priced. They are pushing an 83 year old widow into a contract that she does not want. When you want a manager of Trevinn Tyler he said he could not give out his number. She wants the contract cancelled and they keep using bully tactics. What’s worse the contract signature doesn’t look my signature. Buyer beware they are crooks and I will be reporting to the better business bureau. What’s worse they hire car salesman to do there home sales. No wonder people feel like they are buying a car.

I had a front door installed by West…

I had a front door installed by West Shore Homes. My entire experience was great. The design consultant Spencer Watford understood exactly what I wanted and made some much needed suggestions. The installers Gary, Robbie and Christian did an excellent job. They went above the job to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction which included follow up. I will be using them for any other jobs I may have. Thanks for a job well done.

Complaint Regarding Credit Reporting and Payment Issues

They try to lock you in a contract so that you can’t price shop and when you cancel they attempt to strong arm money out of you even if they have not done any work or scheduled your install. Subject: Complaint Regarding Credit Reporting and Payment Issues Dear West Shore Customer Service, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had with your company. Unfortunately, I find it necessary to file a formal complaint due to the lack of truthfulness in credit reporting and payment practices. Background: I placed an order with West Shore on 20-MAR-2024. After reconsidering my decision, I attempted to cancel the order the following week. Issues: Credit Reporting: Despite my cancellation request, I noticed that West Shore inaccurately reported my credit status. This has negatively impacted my credit score, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience. Payment Strong-Arming: Shockingly, I received communication from your legal department threatening to extract $5,000 from me. This strong-arm tactic is both unethical and unacceptable. Expectations: I demand immediate resolution in the following ways: Correct the credit reporting error promptly. Cease any attempts to coerce payment through intimidation.
