The best water company in my experience. Well run and sympathetic with customers when things go wrong at their property - as it did at mine when I was away! I got the problem fixed asap on my return but was expecting to get stung for the water used but Wessex Water didn’t hit me with a massive charge. They sent my case to a special board who decided I’d done my best to stop the wasted water and therefore didn’t deserve to get punished. I got a small nominal charge and that was it!
That made me realise they’re a good company. That’s backed up by the total lack of any bad stories in the news about them.
My advice - move to an area served by Wessex Water!
I was very pleased with the overall service to resolve an unexpected issue. Having logged the issue out of hours using the online tool I was impressed with the immediate response meaning the next morning the issue had been resolved. Compliments to the process allowing me to relay information and all those who contributed to issue resolution.
The customer service advisor who took our call was very helpful and Rudy was with us in a couple of hours. He was polite, diligent and kept us informed throughout the process, carrying out the job very thoroughly.
Great service, pro-active, friendly and professional staff, the best equipment, excellent communication throughout and a very real desire by all staff to quickly solve customers problems! Great follow up service, other utility companies could learn a lot of lessons about customer service from Wessex Water!
Week ago report water leak 10th january…4 water leaks in one week.
!2th Jan. My update to the above moan,
Darren attended who was very efficient and kind and confirmed water leak,
next day 2 young and very polite workers arrived to find and repair the leak, most efficiently. I have nothing but praise for the workers, Just that all our water pipes in Old Bincombe Lane are old and corroded and we have water leaks every few weeks it seems somewhere. Report water leak 4th january have to wait until 13th Jan for someone to check #.have blocked sewer pipe on 10th Jan 2025 which with was dealt with promptly.
the water leak is most likely under my floor and has been squirting water for goodness knows how long and it takes you over a week to come and check it for me. This is 3rd leak inside in 4-5 years plus, plus a water many leak outside one a month ago.
the leaks inside has caused me much trouble and money as floor has to come up, being 84 years does not help. iIf you check the road you will see that in the last few years the nearly everyone has suffered terrible leak problems, one had to leave house for 6 months, another took nearly a year to fix. pipes need replacing. I am looking at going into a home, I one visit on monday Janet Craig 84 yrs
The operator was friendly, kind, lovely and sympathetic. She was enthusiastic and had empathy about our blockage. She was able to see diagrams of our neighbourhood pipes and has arranged for someone to come today. Fantastic service all around
Ben Fletcher gave us a courteous call 20 minutes before his arrival to make sure we were ready for his visit.
During the visit he inspected all the drains both Surface water and waste water using a camera. His manner was both professional and courteous through out the visit. He left the job area clean and tidy after he had finished, thank you Ben Ref: 063001988001
