This is a brilliant product. I hate gels and as an ultra runner just thought it was something I had to live with. When I did Dragon's Back Race this year, the winner was using Voom bars and he handed me one...so much better. Sometimes I eat them when I'm not even running as they taste so good, unthinkable with gels. The caffeine ones blow your socks off too!

So much better than gels! Love that VOOM have vegan options too. Super gentle on my tummy, I’ve used them before session runs, long runs and before hitting the gym and pool and they are great. Especially like the green bar as it’s a bit like Kendle mint cake but not as strong. Also, customer service team are 10/10 friendly and helpful!!

I have been using VOOM for quite a while now after switching from gels. The pocket rocket bars are really tasty and gentle on the stomach. They are easy to take on long runs and give me that boost I need. The recovery fudge is incredible, I have to stop myself eating it all 😆. Customer service/delivery is 5 star. Highly recommend, give VOOM a try.

I’ve only had positive experiences with voom products. I particularly enjoy the fudge recovery bars, they are super yummy and easy on the stomach after a long run or hard session. They also have a biodegradable drink bottle, which I think is a great initiative from the company showing passion for helping our planet. Not only are deliveries reliable and fast, they also put in a kind personalised message which helps with motivation to get out the door on them cold winter nights!

Taste great and easy to eat on Long runs. Love the recovery shake as it doesn't taste too sweet like some and definitely helps in my recovery after hard sessions.

As an avid long distance road and trail runner, Voom is my go to for everything from preparing for a run, fuelling during and recovery afterwards. Especially their energy bars to give me that boost when the run gets tough.

Absolutely love the energy bars and protein fudge! I cannot stomach energy gels so have always lacked anything to help with an instant burst of energy - so glad I found these as they are ideal!! Really give me a boost, easy on the stomach and taste amazing. The protein fudge is delicious as well. Delivery is always super speedy. My go to bars now!

Ordered the taster pack from Voom. I really like them, even the family wanted to try them after I sampled them at the start. Very easy to eat, just like a kendal mint cake except fruity. Will definitely be ordering again as for the price that are well worth it.

Couldn’t recommend VOOM enough, love the Pocket Rocket bars especially!! The bars offer twice the energy of gels whilst avoiding stomach problems and can be split into 4 easy bites. Incredibly tasty with no mess, can’t wait to order more!

Great products Wouldn’t buy anywhere else

I recently tried the four bar taster pack. Arrived quickly in nice packaging. All four bars tasted nice, with the exception of Pocket Rocket, which had a quite a strong burnt/ candied peel orange taste that I'm not a fan of, but that might just be personal taste. I've tried other gels that have a similar, strong orange taste, but my usual ones are quite mild, so might just be me. I found the bars quite difficult to chew and digest whilst out on a run, even eating a chunk at a time. Again, maybe because I'm used to gels. Maybe I needed to eat them a bit slower, or half a chunk at a time, or maybe it's just something I need to get used to, or if it would be easier if I was walking/ cycling etc. In terms of performance, the energy bars definitely seemed to give me an extra boost after eating a chunk or two at the suggested time (before, during or for a boost). Not sure about the protein bar - I always see them as more of a tasty reward after a session rather than any real benefit (there's better sources of protein out there!). Overall, taste and performance across the four bars were good overall, but I'm personally not really convinced on solid bars rather than gels. Granted, you can eat a bit at a time, but I feel this is balanced out by having to 'eat' the bar rather than 'drink' it, as you would a gel. Also, while they might have twice the energy of a gel, they are about as heavy as two of my regular gels, so again, kind of balances itself out. It is useful just to nibble though, so you can take smaller bits over a longer period of time. I'd recommend you give them a try, but they might take a bit of getting used to.

Voom has got some amazing products, especially there electro energy bars, they are stomach friendly and taste great! One of my favourite items is the protein powder, a mix of chocolate and vanilla, it is unbelievable after a hard session or workout. It can give up to 20g+ of protein per portion, and it is suitable for vegetarians!

It's safe to say pocket rockets are my new go-to. Very impressed with taste, easy to eat on the go and easy on the stomach. Super fast delivery and a personal touch!

Having seen good things from chlorunsalot on Instagram I decided to order Voom's taster pack that came with 3x Pocket Rocket energy bars, and 1x protein fudge bar. Having tried the 3x energy bars, that all have their own unique properties, firstly they all taste great. The Berry caffeine kick is my favourite tasting, and is easy to process on the go, melting away like a sugar cube. The caffeine kick really helped me get through a tough intervals pyramid session and can't wait to try it out on a race day. The big thing that I noticed, was that even with the caffeine content, I didn't have my usual post run stomach cramps that I have had with other energy products. Then the fudge. I've had protein yogurts, bars, etc before. All are a hard slog to get down and sit heavily in your stomach. The voom fudge was just like a normal fudge. Very tasty and lighter to digest. Will definitely be making a second and third purchase and looking to integrate voom nutrition into my running and races, and can't wait to see the gains it brings.
