Without prior knowledge of Voom I grabbed one during a race and took a bite. Being used to 'flapjack-type' bars the texture took me by surprise and I found it a bit like Kendal Mint Cake, and more sweet than my usual nutrition. However, I realise now that to get the best from the bars I was doing it wrong. I took some out on a long training run. The breakable chunks were great for regular dosing of energy and once I was aware of the expected texture I found it pleasant and the bars very tasty. Energy levels were maintained over a 5 hour run. I will happily use them again but not exclusively, instead doing a mix and match with different textures and flavours.

Having used VOOM nutrition for training and races before, I know how good they are. With a race coming up this weekend, and seeing their reflective beanie Hat comes with a great deal on 3 rocket bars, it was a no brainer with the winter weather coming in. I find the website really easy to use and the delivery came this morning, packaged well and very quickly. Oh and the personal message is always a little touch that i love.

The service was impeccable from delivery time, to a personalised note thanking me for the purchase. I've tried a couple of the bars already and I love them. Great flavour and texture. They melt in your mouth and my legs felt great and full of energy.

Voom taster pack arrived quickly. Tested them on a long run, went down easy and not a bit queezy.

Used them on the great south run, didn't make me feel sick like the gels Will definitely buy again.

The recovery fudge was/is amazing, would eat it by itself. i was less of a fan of the pre workout bar, think i prefer something a little less firm. The Hydration powder was good, decent taste and dissolved well. Two more bars to go! I will buy some more to try the rest of the range.

Brilliant service, sample pack arrived very quickly without any fuss and the product was great. The caffeine pocket rockets are like rocket fuel, very tasty too

Loved the energy bars - used for the Ben Nevis ultra (🥈), easy to eat a fixed amount of calories on a schedule without having to think about it. The team also were able to change my order last minute and add a sample pack in for free.

Quick delivery, no hitches! Products are great, but it's time for a vegan recovery bar....

Saw an ad for Voom on Instagram and ordered a trial pack. They came quickly and were well packed in disposable card packaging. Having used a popular sports energy gel brand for a while I'd been disappointed with the taste, texture and stickiness of gels. I thought I'd give Voom a try. So far I have tried the orange flavour and I'm very pleasantly surprised. The mouth feel is lovely, reminiscent of mint-cake but without the too-sweet cloyingness. Orange was refreshing and tasty. I like the way it'll crumble up or you can suck-it like a boiled sweet. Voom chunks up into 4 mouth-sized bites great for sharing. The waxy paper wrapper makes it easy to store away until you're ready for your next chunk too. I haven't tried it during an event yet, but intend to.

Great bars - great flavours particularly like the carb and electrolytes lemon and lime - reminds me of Kendal mint cake - delicious and it worked well - I felt fuelled for my ride
