Ordered wine for Christmas on 1st December. All tracking updates stopped on 3rd December and numerous messages to customer services have gone unanswered. Out of pocket with no idea where my wine or money is Update: order reference 2570486 in my husband’s name, Brian Byron
On 27/11, I placed an order on the Vinatis website totaling €285, including two gift boxes with two glasses each. On 6/12, I received the package and immediately opened it, only to find that one of the two boxes contained a broken glass. I promptly contacted customer service with photos, describing the unfortunate situation, hoping for a quick resolution as promised within 24 hours. However, 24 hours passed with no response, and even after 48 hours of follow-up, there was still no communication. Finally, on 11/12, I received a response: “We acknowledge receipt of your e-mail and apologize for any inconvenience caused. We have credited your Vinatis account with a voucher of 5.80€, the value of a glass of your CHAMPAGNE TAITTINGER - PRESTIGE, by way of compensation. The voucher will be deducted from your next order and will be valid for six months. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any further information.” The solution is not a quick replacement or a refund but a meager voucher for a new purchase. Terrible customer service and a dreadful experience that I don't recommend to anyone. Update: Vinatis took a week to respond to my email inquiry, but they replied to this review in less than 24 hours – magic! Vinatis alludes to the fact that I did not check the package before delivery. The package was perfect externally, and I could not have known it contained a damaged product. My x-ray machine was occupied at that time. In the email, I had requested a return, but never received a response. Now, they are suggesting it publicly. Well, I ask you equally publicly to arrange, at your expense, a courier to pick up the package in question. I await your response. Have a good day.
I ordered one bottle of champagne for my son who lives in France. I am based in UK. I wanted to be sure there would be no customs duty etc that’s why I bought it from a French co. It was delivered on the day I requested so a very good service. I do think the delivery cost of euro15 was a bit high given Annecy is not too far from my sons house. Nevertheless it’s a good option for me if I want to send him a gift.
Fast, on-time delivery and no hassle ordering process
My first order with vinatis. Everything was smooth, the order and the extremely cheap and fast delivery to Crete. Definitely I will order some more.

The company delivers what you ask for. The wines are better and often cheaper than can be found in the UK. Delivery is free over £150, albeit not automatically as you have to type FREEPOSTAGE in the voucher space. This could usefully be changed to automatic. Delivery can take anything from one to three weeks, but it will arrive, and if you're ever worried about it Vinatis will reply to queries pretty much immediately.

I'm sure the wine is fine but we have had a poor delivery experience. Weordered a box as a gift for my Uncle's 80th birthday, to be delivered to his home in Kent. I realised when the tracking details were released that it was en route to my address in Manchester. At first I assumed this was actually my error and that I'd not entered the delivery address as I'd thought. Going into my account however showed that I had asked for it to be delivered to the Kent address so i have no clue how it ended up coming to the billing address! I quickly emailed asking for it to be redirected and received no response back. 5 days later it arrived in Manchester. So my uncle received nothing from us for a milestone birthday and we now have the task of sorting another gift. This was really disappointing all round and I've had to apologise profusely to a uncle who would have loved receiving this on his special day.
Good selection of wines at reasonable prices. Website easy to navigate. Good communications throughout and on-time delivery. Would definitely use again.
Great wine as usual. DPD driver just threw the boxes on doorstep with no regard for the fact they were marked FRAGILE. Previously we have come home to find them balanced precariously on our doorstep! Please dispense with the services of DPD and find another more caring delivery service.

***Updated: Got the parcels finally on 27 Oct, delivery company has been changed to DPD. The package is good and safe. Red wine in good quality and good value of money.*** Unhappy first time experience on Vinatis...... I ordered 16 bottles of red wine on 12 Oct, payment was accepted, and I received an email saying my order has been shipped on 15 Oct. However, when I checked the delivery status in Chronopost website from 16 Oct up to now 26 Oct, the status is always the same "Released from customs". It shows that there is no progress at all.........so I have sent a message to VINATIS Customer Service in their website on 24 Oct, but up to now there is no feedback at all! (my order no. is 2494165)
Always an interesting selection and as often as not I find something new to tempt me. I feel I can depend upon vinatis, however, on this one occasion the packaging was not up to standard and I was lucky to have received both bottles still in tact. Not meant as a complaint, more of a heads-up please. If two bottles are put into a box big enough for three then please put something sturdy between them as a form of cushioning. Otherwise all good!
