Travis Perkins Plymouth (Sutton Road) have been absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to help our youth theatre bring a performance to life at Totnes Castle. Matt and Mack have borne been so helpful and giving of their time and energy, Mack single handedly delivered Heras fencing up to the castle in the heat, thank you!

Mistake with an order!

I realised I had made a mistake with an online order for 4 fence panel's when I received a text notification of the date of delivery. They were due for delivery from a supplier in 2 days time. Slightly stressed, about the possible cost implications if I was too late to cancel the order, I had a problem as the website contact number was incorrect. I had a call with Mark (workington Store) who put me in touch with Stuart ( Online team) who sorted it out for me. He cancelled my order with the supplier. Both were friendly, understanding, professional and quick to act. Thanks for great customer service. Lynn

Travis Perkins Rhondda are superb

Travis Perkins Rhondda are superb. I have been buying stuff here regularly for when I visit to help get my daughter’s place sorted. They have simply been great from the start. Advice on setting up an account, making it easy to order with them, helpful when I go into the branch. Friendly and accurate info always supplied. Bought from them over six times , had deliveries four times and all gone perfect. Danny, Ryan and the rest of the team, I thoroughly recommend you.

Best team - Mike, and Canterbury branch

I had an urgent need for bricks and building sand, as I had my bricklayer for a few more days. I called the Canterbury branch, and Mike was invaluable; he visited the site on the same day to ensure I could obtain the correct bricks for next-day delivery, as the bricks I had ordered would have taken another week to arrive. The delivery driver was also very helpful. Best team ever.

Customer Service is what they DON’T do!

First time using Travis Perkins and I won’t make the mistake of using them again. Sometimes things go wrong that are out of anyone’s control but with TP it seems they are just inept! So many broken promises and excuses for failed delivery that just don’t stack up. A lesson learned that competitive prices aren’t as important as good customer service and reliability- one for the avoid list.

Cement Mixer Order - Whitehills, Stockport

Ordered a Cement Mixer from my local store and arranged delivery. Saw one in B&Q and wondered if it might fit in my car so I popped in and Cam was fantastic. There it was high up on a gantry so I couldn't tell if it would fit, but Cam got a forklift, moved stuff about and brought it out to see if we could fit in - result! I took it away that day. Cam did a great job in offering to help and getting me on my way. Fantastic Job.

Very disappointed

Had a 65sq meter resin driveway to lay And was let down by Travis Perkins. Never received the power float and the forced action mixer broke down twice, once laying the poly base then when I was laying the resin bound driveway which has to be laid in one day. Called the office and explained that I needed a new mixer as I have started laying the resin and it needs to be laid today. Reply not my problem can’t get one till tomorrow. Had no help from the first guy so I asked to speak to a manager. Got no help from him kept repeating I can get one tomorrow which was no good as i had to finish it in one day, he did say he would call me back which he didn’t. So I had no power float and a mixer that broke twice. I was there for 12 hours laying the driveway with a mixer that only went backwards kept stopping halfway through each mix then had to pull the mix out by hand. Absolute nightmare!! Plus you still send me an invoice for the machines and delivery charges. I have kept this short as I don’t have enough time to explain the unhelpful staff blaming city hire, very disappointed and let down. Hopefully I don’t have any problem with the driveway if I do then I will be having a very different conversation with Travis Perkins

Went to travis perkins wigston in…

Went to travis perkins wigston in leicestershire. Walk in to ask for some advice on some items. Group of men in one corner of the room look at me like I've just kicked their dog and I was disturbing their conversation. Only one man ( 5 stars) on the other side of the room stood up and helped me out. I can't fault his customer service. Shame on the others.

3 weeks waiting for web order

3 weeks waiting for web order, just basic stuff. Then the usual promises of delivery all broken. When it finally arrived parts were missing. This business is obviously working in a complete muddle. My warning to other Tradies is to stay away.

Excellent on-line and customer service

I have placed numerous orders with my local branch of Travis Perkins (Stratford, East London). I am a DIY enthusiast building projects at home. I want to give a special mention to Billie-Jo Longstaff for fixing errors I made in orders, her follow up messages and calls, going over and beyond customer service to ensure I have everything I need to keep building. Absolutely amazing, thank you. Also to all of the TP delivery drivers, for their kindness and help with unloading at my home. Thank you all, great service, never grumbling even after a long day, very professional in all aspects Alan McKenzie (London, E6)

Your app is crap..you’re billing is…

Your app is crap..you’re billing is none descriptive, nothing a can relate a job to unless I I go through countless receipts. One minute I get an email saying I have purchased something then from another day/person/ branch.. nothing!! It’s utter bo11ocks
