Trying to get money from people for a company that has no longer exist is out of order and am sure lots of people agree with me and that company is brighthouse and also scaring people in to paying more than they can (disgusting)’

Read a lot of people who have had them threaten home visits, CCJ's Warrants of control and baliff's etc etc etc. Iv'e had it all with them don't worry read up on your rights They are just repetitive with what they try and do. Don't panic they actually as boring as a wet weekend to me. Action Threat etc etc etc i they can do the ccj's they can do the warrants of control they can send the baliff's etc etc etc. Unless its a certain kind of debt for instance a court fine don't worry about the baliffs dont let them in ignore them if you have transport put it in the garage or away from house your safe as long as you don't let them into your house they cannot force entry they know that so you should too. Only cetain kind of debt where they can gain entry. When they threaten a home visit just say to the home visitor when they arrive not intersted and shut the door you dont have to speak to them. ccj's well if your at the above stages you have ccj's already which with them will lead to a warrant of control don't let them give you lies unless you let the baliffs in to enforce the warrant there zero they can do they cant forcefully come in so don't panick

Excellent debt collection company
Surprisingly very understanding for a debt collection company.. As someone who rarely talks to a debt collection company, I was surprised how accommodating this company is... I spoke to a lovely guy called Connor. He was extremely helpful and didn't say, "No, your offer is unacceptable, we want a bigger monthly payment!" As I have experienced in the past from other companies chasing money I owe... TM Legal are a refreshing company and do not pressure you to pay more than you can afford!.. Connor , the guy I spoke to was absolutely brilliant and speaking as someone who has ignored my debt for years because of past experiences I am happy that I have sorted this one... Update.... 7/6/24 I accidentally cancelled my DD recently. I spoke to a lady but don't remember her name.. I have to say, she wasn't as good as Connor who I originally spoke to. She didn't listen and seemed in a rush to get through the call.. . I have noticed a lot of comments on here from people who spoke to Connor and only have good things to say about him! Connor was an absolute delight when I originally set up my payment plan with him... If only there were more Connors in the debt collection companies! 😁

Normally I hate answering these sort of calls and usually by-pass them by going onto the customer portal. However today I answered and spoke with Jessica and to my surprise she was very helpful, polite and made me feel very comfortable. She was able to help me with my account and get a payment plan put in place without any issues. Very please Thank you Jessica
