Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. Would recommend.
Taylor Rose is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about communication and poor quality.
Excellent customer service. Would recommend.
Taylor Rose provided a professional service. Irushi Gunathilake and her legal assistant, Amandi Perera were responsible for our conveyancing. They regularly kept me updated throughout the process. They were excellent!
We had fantastic service from Helen Bean while buying our first family home. She worked incredibly quickly without ever missing a detail—thorough, professional, and always on the ball. Couldn’t have asked for better support through the process. Highly recommend!
Very pleased with the best service and the advice provided. Highly recommend the professionals at Taylor Rose.

We recently worked with Cassey-Ann Sharman and the team at Taylor Rose for the sale of our old home and the purchase of our new one and she was fantastic from start to finish. Cassey-Ann was friendly, approachable, and made everything feel a lot less stressful than it could have been. She kept us updated at every stage, explained things clearly, and was always quick to respond whenever we had questions or needed some reassurance. She was on top of all the details, kept things moving smoothly and clearly had our best interests in mind the whole way through. Thanks to Cassey-Ann, the whole process felt a lot more manageable, and we really appreciated how easy she was to work with. We’d happily recommend her to anyone buying or selling a home. She made a big difference to our experience, and we’re very grateful.

A Heartfelt Caution for Potential Taylor Rose (property) clients I initially instructed Taylor Rose to handle a settlement agreement, but the experience was deeply frustrating. The lawyer assigned to my case took over a month just to review the settlement agreement and then provided a generic letter of advice as opposed to taking decisive action to advocate & negotiate the agreement with the other side. When I asked him to take action, he cited other commitments which meant my matter suffered. Even after this point and having raised a complaint, he continued to delay, did not contact the other side as promised, causing the settlement to fall through entirely. His negligence led to significant psychological distress and utterly jeopardised my legal standing. They assured me that things would be brought under control, but they ended being empty promises and my earnest hope that things would improve over five months was met with consistent neglect, reticence to my matter, promised callbacks and being given the run around when I escalated to partners in the team. It’s clear to me that there is a systemic issue within the firm. As other reviewers have shared, I have found that there's almost a systematic negligence and their client care process is a farce, they clearly have zero intention of remedying things, its simply a mechanism they use to placate aggrieved clients. For example, how insincere is it for a firm to speedily ask TP to remove the names of the lawyers I dealt with from this honest review (covering for themselves), but when it came to service delivery & getting the matter back on course, I received snail-speed responses, promised countless callbacks and many times, ignored emails. They've sent a clear image of the kind of the firm they are: our primary focus is maintaining a farce reputation not client service. So, please be informed. My sincere advice is to be extremely selective when choosing legal representation and to consider other firms that prioritise their clients interests, not simply profits. If you do find yourself working with them and things start to go wrong, don’t wait as I did—move your matter elsewhere as soon as possible - there really is little hope that anyone will get your matter back on track. It's truly sad that this is how law firms conduct themselves.

I am very grateful with all the help and support from Mr Jaufurally since 2011 up to now, with all his advice and assistance with my immigration matter. I have received my settlement due to Mr Jaufurally’s confidence and I recommend Mr Jaufurally 100%.

TLDR; Some of their staff may be very good at their jobs, but some are awful. You do not get a better service just because you are paying them more. Their customer support and complaints team will do little to help you if your lawyers provide a poor service. This review relates to our experience with Amanda Fan-Watkins and Elloise Harrhy - if you get them, I'd suggest requesting others instead of risking the experience we had. We contracted them to be our conveyancers for our first home purchase based on a friend's recommendation and the experience was truly unpleasant - they turned what should be a wonderful experience of buying our new home into a painful, frustrating and disappointing experience which dragged on for far longer than it should have. This review is based on the assumption that you pay TR a higher fee than elsewhere for an improved service and my issue is that we could have had the same service while paying half the price - at least an AI conveyancer wouldn't have been so unpleasant to deal with. Main problems: Attitude - Before we signed the contract Amanda was very friendly - as soon as it was signed, her tone and demeanour changed completely and she seemed offended that I dared to call her to ask questions. As we neared the end of the process she became increasingly offensive and I can honestly say I've never been spoken to like that by anyone, let alone someone working for me. Basic decency and respect should not be a big ask. Reactiveness - Most people will tell you that in order to get conveyancers to do anything you have to stay on top of them and call constantly. I made the mistake of leaving Amanda to her work and this easily delayed the work by 1 or 2 months, costing us more in rent as we waited. Whenever I called, she told me how she was closing down one case and opening ours which proves she was only working on cases when the client called and pushed her. Lack of structure and support - As they received documents for us they simply sent them in a mass of attachments with no explanation as to what they were and what we should do with them. This is a set process so they could have templates set up to make it easier for them and clearer for the client. This was combined with their unpleasant attitude which meant that to understand documents, we had to call them and have a painful conversation as they reluctantly explained information to us. Hidden charges - As charges arose for work on the process, they didn't transparently make us aware of them but rather left it to us to uncover, hidden away in one of the documents and very difficult to pick out. If they were committed to legal firms' commitment to transparency and ethical dealings with customers, they would highlight additional costs and ensure the client is aware of them, rather than waiting until the final bill is sent. Disinterested and deceitful complaints service - After going through this, I raised a complaint with their complaints team who simply followed a notional process and clearly had no interest in holding their staff to account. I had to escalate it to a Head before it got anywhere. They also mysteriously couldn't access call recordings where Amanda had been unacceptably rude despite saying that they record all calls - this was clearly intentional deception. This suggests that the behaviour they showed is an institutional and systemic issue which is accepted by Taylor Rose. I gave them 2 stars as perhaps the work was done as it should be after all of that pain, but I suppose we won't know unless or until we come across an issue in future. So if you've made it this far, I'd recommend selecting other law firms just to be safe, there are so many out there and I will be recommending to everyone who goes through this process to avoid Taylor Rose.

I am happy with the experience of having instructed Taylor Rose with the purchase of my flat. There have obviously been a few niggles along the way, but most of these had to do with the vendors' side. The legal personnel at Taylor Rose were always polite and helpful, even when I became very anxious

What made my experience great was that Sean McCormack was so friendly in his manner, sympathetic and understanding of my situation. He guided me so professionally and gave me confidence and made me feel very comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of the way he conducted my case. The outcome was very satisfactory. Thank you to Sean and your team. Kind regards Jenny Murray A satisfied client.
