Takeaway.com receives consistently positive reviews. Customers particularly appreciate service and quality, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.
Was supposed to be free delivery but we had to pay an extra £3, delivery was an hour after told delivery time
Great service fresh food delivered just took a little longer than stated
Not too good.rice stodgy and soggy. Chicken balls in batter-TOO MUCH BATTER!

After 45 mins got a phone call saying they had only just contacted the resturant when I had no trouble getting through. Companies like just eat have mug better process
i have order from the above a number of time and the service is clear and quick
Although the delivery wasnt good , takeaway.com gave me a refund for apologies. kind of them
Easy site to use And if anything is a wrong they sort it out in minutes. Will recommended to others.
Can't vouch for my food choices yet - not been great, but as a company they actually read your feedback, respond and aim to make things better!!
Great food, great deals. Easy order process,. Only thing is though the deals are listed in the menu you cannot click ON them to be sure they have been taken into account.
Such a gorgeous meal everytime! I'm a huge fan and committed to this Takeaway as the food is deliciously amazing and makes a fantastic breakfast as well. with a great service and menu to perfection I really couldn't recommend a better place! thanks!
Only used a couple of times but they seem extremely efficient. I wish they had more conventional (by which I mean English) takeaways on their site.
Great website. Very easy to navigate and offers all easy to use/find. Better than other sites.
It was only when i discovered Takeaway.com that i also found The Spice of India. WHat a revelation, a fabulous array of dishes, including some i haven't seen since eating out in London. The service was a little slow, but that might be because of the choices we made when ordering, but it was hot on arrival and the taste was fabulous. The set meal deals are brilliant, and even the naan was exceptional, you just don't see banana naan elsewhere round here. Overall, a great experience, good price and will definitely use again.
First ever order failed... Second order, perfect Third order , perfect Will use again no problem
Easy to order, great service, food turned up in time and very hot!! Definitely would use service again.
Very easy thank you
Although the website was reasonably easy to use, the service I received from the takeaway I ordered from was shocking. It took an hour and a half for the food to arrive arrive, which was a mozzarella pizza, garlic bread, onion rings and chicken. I called 3 times in total and they told me that my food was on its way. When it arrived, it was room temperature and they had missed the sauces from my order. I called back and complained and had to ring 3 times in total in order to speak to the manager who offered to replace it but I said I wanted a full refund refund. He agreed to this and asked for the food back. I told him that it had been in the bin and he said that's fine, just take it out. When the delivery driver arrived approximately 30 minutes later, he refused to take the food because it had been in the bin, although there was no evidence of this - he only knew because I had told this to the manager. After spending our hard earned money on a takeaway to treat ourselves, my boyfriend and I were left feeling disappointed, angry, hungry and out of pocket. The takeaway we ordered from is on London Road in Derby and is not Spice of Life.
GIVE THEM A GO, YOU WONT BE DISAAPOINTED
Ordered a few times. Food comes hot and Tastes nice..will defo order again
Quick and easy.
I couldn't get through to my local Indian takeaway on the phone so after 10 mins (on a Friday evening), I had a look online to see if I could order electronically. Takeaway.com popped up and allowed me to select my favourite thali box and amazingly offered me an 8:30 delivery slot just 40 mins later - much faster than the usual time. I was impressed! Then I realised I couldn't tweak the contents of the thali box (ie change the set menu naan and swap a lamb for a chicken dish which we normally did). Still it would be 40 mins earlier than usual. After an hour I called the takeaway to ask where the food was as it was late. I was told that Takeaway.com should never have offered me that delivery window and that they were seriously thinking of getting rid of the service as it over promised for customers and caused them endless problems. Because I'm a regular they arranged a special delivery but that's not the point. Takeaway.com is totally disconnected from me as a customer and has no role in ensuring that my food arrives to my specifications or on time. It's a bit of a let down.
Really good service. Easy to order. Clear pricing. Arrived quickly.
