We have used Setfords on a number of occasions for selling properties. Anna Nuttall and the team made the whole process very easy. We were updated frequently and any queries we had were swiftly answered. Just a very easy and pleasant process overall.

Been professional throughout and completely transparent. Also, the response times to reply to emails is excellent.
Was initially disappointed that the whole starter pack needed to be printed out, signed and posted back. I did everything in 2 hours, and posted a file an inch thick the same day. Paid £1000 just to open the file. Rang at the end of the following day to check they had received it OK, but it turns out she doesn't work Thursdays. Never received any confirmation of receipt of all of the documents. Rang to check in a week later, turns out she didn't work Tuesday either. Was told that my case was being dropped and they cannot divulge the reasons why. I wonder how long they would have left it if I didn't call up. Still I have no correspondence to say they will no longer act for me. Disappointed that there was no online portal, no acknowledgements or updates and absolutely devastated that I have lost another week and wasted my time with a conveyancer who can't take the job on. I have been told my deposit will be refunded minus their ID check fees, but it's not clear how much I have lost and right now I'm still out of pocket.

I had a fantastic experience working with Gemma at Setfords during my flat purchase. She was incredibly helpful, always contactable, and patient in answering all of my questions throughout the process. Due to my irregular work hours, Gemma even made time to speak with me outside of the usual working day, which meant a lot. She was proactive in chasing management packs when delays came up and kept everything moving. From offer to completion, the entire process was wrapped up in just eight weeks thanks to her efficiency and dedication. Even after completion, Gemma continued to be supportive, helping me with follow-up questions and promptly sending over documents I’d misplaced. I have been dealing with Jermey Asher at Stefords, in regards to a Cifas marker put on me name/file from Barclays Bank. I can’t praise this gentleman more. He’s fantastic at what he does so efficient and took his time to deal with my situation it was such a smooth process lots of details, took me step by step through all the process and made it easy to work with him. He managed to challenge my case against Barclays and have the marker removed and I can’t thank him more. Truly the best man for any problems with Cifas he knows exactly what he’s doing and excellent amazing service Thank you very much.
