Review summary
Rightmove has mixed reviews from customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about communication and customer service.
Find the agents in your area and email them direct- much easier than Rightmove
Right move is set up to sell financial services (like mortgage products) and promote estate agencies that pay for additional promotion.
Registration is painful, taking 5 mins to wade through their security protocols
I would give minus stars if possible.
Our letting agent uses Rightmove referencing: So the Rightmove rep, Craig called my wife and within 30 seconds insisted on access to her bank account (?!). Then, when she declined and offered the usual payslips and statements, the rep said, "You want this property, get over it and swallow the pill".
I have never heard such unprofessional nonsense in my entire life. I am absolutely insensed and who in their right mind would give bank account access to a complete stranger in Ireland???
Who the hell do these people think they are? Does anyone trust 'Rightmove' with their personal financial data, you'd have to be insane.
EVERY THING ABOUT THE NEW PAGE I HAVE TO SWITCH FROM GOOGLE CHROME TO GOOGLE TO FIND OUT WHERE PROPERTY IS MAPS STREET VIEW WHAT YOUR SAYING HOW TO USE THE THE NEW PAGE IS RUBISH IT DOES NOT WORK PLEASE GO BACK TO THE OLD WAY ITS MUCH BETTER IN ALL WAYS
Rachel Robertson was like a breath of fresh air during a busy and stressful period of transit. She was clear, friendly and professional and helped to secure a great Sky package for myself and my partner ahead of our move at the end of March. Thank you, Rachel!
I'd be more than happy to recommend Van Mildert to friends and family in the future.
I have just been in contact with these people for a couple of days and I’m just appalled with how they treat customers. First of all I’m a social worker and get paid decent money but unfortunately I’m going on maternity leave which I was told means that I’m classified as someone on a temporary contract which doesn’t make sense because even with my maternity pay I’m still able to pay all the bills. To progress forward I was asked to either pay 6 months rent upfront or provide statements with savings in which I was happy to do both! .. I have provided them with all the information they need, but they have pestered, bothered me and just really honestly treated me so appalling. Not to mention that I was admitted in hospital on Tuesday to be induced to have my baby, they still expect me to go to the bank and get some statements even though Iv proven to them that I have sufficient money in my bank which I have been saving towards a deposit for a house to pay the rent at least for the next 5 years straight! I honestly feel this company is racist! They saw an unfamiliar name and decided that they will just make my life a living hell, which they have succeeded in doing.. very unempathetic in their approach, I don’t care attitude on the phone particularly with this one girl I spoke to... I would give them a zero if I could. And if I was given a choice, wouldn’t work with them but unfortunately this is the company the estate agent I’m getting a house with have asked me to deal with. I am just so disgusted that there are people in these kind of positions working with people.
excellent service from a lovely woman named megan even with some technical difficulties she still remained upbeat and managed to get everything sorted for us. she wrote such a kind message on the email she sent afterwards as well
Rachel was great! Really helpful in finding us the best options and deal for our new move. Can’t fault the lovely conversations either. Thank you again!
Rightmove used to be the best property site, now it's the worst! Can't see all of the photos, can't enlarge the floor plan, no street view and it's very ugly. What was wrong with the old site? Using Zoopla now.
I am a Director and owner of 3 companies and employ staff in my businesses. I was supposed to be a guarantor for my cousin who is a student and is to rent a shared flat. I provided all the details to them. Naturally, there is no one higher than me in the organisation. They asked for details to my personal account which I declined. I offered to provide them the my latest tax return documents from HRMC but they are not accepting this. I have been running my businesses for more than 6 years so this technically means that one of my staff would more easily qualify as a guarantor than I. Make it make sense.
