Our letting agent uses Rightmove referencing: So the Rightmove rep, Craig called my wife and within 30 seconds insisted on access to her bank account (?!). Then, when she declined and offered the usual payslips and statements, the rep said, "You want this property, get over it and swallow the pill".
I have never heard such unprofessional nonsense in my entire life. I am absolutely insensed and who in their right mind would give bank account access to a complete stranger in Ireland???
Who the hell do these people think they are? Does anyone trust 'Rightmove' with their personal financial data, you'd have to be insane.
Spoke to Danielle who couldnβt do enough for me with an issue with my accountants. Her communication skills were exceptional keeping me updated on every step. Achieving what was required in the time scales predicted.
Paul Crackett, was the advisor who called. He was professional and friendly. He made clear all my options and allowed me time in the conversation to consider my choices without any bias. I am actually happy with my insurance coverage. Coming from me, thatβs a compliment.
My first few experiences with VM were challenging as I felt I wasn't being supported with solutions, I had called up at least 4-5 times until the wonderful Gemma Lazzari picked up, understood our situation with a difficult rogue landlady and went onto get us a positive reference. I want to call her a miracle worker but she is just doing what comes natural to her by being helpful, listening, having a calming approach and providing solutions. She took our case upon herself and became our main contact until we resolved it. Cannot recommend Gemma enough, she has the professionalism, attention to detail, empathy and due care that you would want to be welcomed with when making a call. Very quick service and friendly staff. Clear communication and always happy to answer questions. Provided reference checking for a tenancy for us and then also acted as broker for tenancy and possessions insurance. And all provided with a lovely lilting Geordie accent. :)
