Fantastic experience for conveyancing and mortgage advise.
We used Ocean for conveyancing and mortgage advise. Conveyancing: Really excellent service throughout by Linda and her team. Everything sorted as quickly as possible and dealt really well with the sellers solicitors who were causing headaches. Howla website kept us up to date, as did emails and phone calls. Never had to chase once. Really impressed. Mortgage Advise: Again excellent service, this time by Luigi. Friendly and happy to chat through all the details with you. Found us a great deal, and regularly checked for rate changes to save us money. All around excellent.

Avoid the Clifton branch!!
We used the services of the Clifton converyancers: trainee who was undertaking the work took incredibly long to perform the most basic of proof of funds queries (took 6-8wks to even start asking us questions regarding documents we had provided in January - and that was only because we started chasing multiple times!). I know friends who have bought houses in the past year and their proof of funds queries were resolved in less than 2-3 weeks. Very inefficient and lot of time wasted going back and forth because the staff was clearly inexperienced without proper supervision. The said staff went on holiday at a crucial time without informing us beforehand, and the manager didn't even know what stage the work was at when we rang to enquire how much was left (i.e. clearly there's a lack of internal communication!) It's a shame because the Southville branch's conveyancers that the selling party used were much more efficient and even they were frequently chasing our conveyancers! So clearly it's not an issue for Ocean as a whole because everyone else we got in touch with (including Mark, our estate agent) were very helpful and informative, but the Clifton branch singlehandedly ruined our experience and will certainly not be recommending their services to anyone.

The team at Ocean did an incredible job conveyancing on my first time purchase. Ashleigh was incredibly attentive and also very friendly. I actually didn’t buy through Ocean as my first purchase fell through, but they were incredibly good at working with another EA and getting the work done.

We are so glad we chose Ocean Estate Agency in Downend – they’ve been absolutely fantastic throughout our moving journey. After our initial sale sadly fell through, we decided to change solicitors and use Ocean's conveyancing service instead – and we’re so happy we made that switch. The staff at Ocean were incredibly supportive, proactive, and detailed from the very beginning. They really took the time to understand our situation and made sure we felt confident and well-informed at every step.
