Fantastic experience for conveyancing and mortgage advise.
We used Ocean for conveyancing and mortgage advise. Conveyancing: Really excellent service throughout by Linda and her team. Everything sorted as quickly as possible and dealt really well with the sellers solicitors who were causing headaches. Howla website kept us up to date, as did emails and phone calls. Never had to chase once. Really impressed. Mortgage Advise: Again excellent service, this time by Luigi. Friendly and happy to chat through all the details with you. Found us a great deal, and regularly checked for rate changes to save us money. All around excellent.

Knowledgeable in a ever changing environment
Ocean Estate Agents but in particular Kyra at the Portishead office was helpful and very knowledgeable in an area that I have little. From start (viewings) to finish (tenant moving in) I wouldnβt hesitate to use again.

Completion day shambles
When going through the process of buying our property, my partner and I requested that everything be cleared from the property except for the bed and curtain poles. Upon the day of our completion we find a sofa in the garden, the owner did not give all the keys to the property over and there was a load of other tat and furniture in the property that we wanted to be removed. Weβre extremely dissatisfied that the estate agent has taken no responsibility to make sure the property is in the appropriate state to be handed over and the fact the other sets of keys were not obtained. We are now having to 1) have our locks changed which costs even MORE money 2) liaising directly with the seller to get rid of the sofa that now sits in our back garden. We should not have to speak to the seller at all, there should have been a simple and smooth hand over process but that process has been anything but simple. I will not be recommending to anyone to go through Ocean agents if this is how weβre being treated.
