Ordering process not so easy. Good updates regarding Delivery of Order. Order packaged well. Cannot comment on quality of items ordered, not eaten any yet.

I cannot give a good rating as I never received my order. I appreciate it was the fault of the delivery company but it is still annoying. I have given a 1 star rating because there was no hesitation in accepting the order didn’t arrive but still annoyed that I have to wait another 6 days for re delivery of the same order.

Good quality food, delivery spot on, been a customer for years and always will be.

Muscle Food Review I recently placed an order with Muscle Food and overall, I’m pretty happy with the experience. Delivery arrived bang on the scheduled time, which was a great start. Everything I ordered was included in the box – no missing items, which I had seen mentioned in some other reviews, so that was reassuring. The Uruguayan steaks were the main highlight. They came really thick, which I liked, but they were quite small in size overall – I ended up needing two steaks per meal, so 10 steaks realistically made about 5 meals. While they were really tasty and filling (and I genuinely enjoyed them), I personally wouldn’t pay £69.99 for 10 unless they were on offer. For that price, you expect more than just five meals’ worth. The mince was well packaged in separate portions, which is handy. It’s enough for one person per meal – ideal for meal prepping or solo cooking. I’ve not cooked the chicken breast yet, but they look good quality and are noticeably bigger than what I’d usually get from the supermarket. As for freshness, the expiry dates were decent. A few items had shorter use-by dates (a couple of days), but I just used or froze those straight away. Others had about a week, so they went straight into the freezer too. I’ll be keeping an eye on how long the hamper lasts me overall before deciding to place another order. So far, a solid experience – especially if you catch a good deal

Easy to order and great value

The food came covered in myoglobin and multiple packets were already opened and had to be binned. Attempted to get some sort of compensation but support was extremely unhelpful and despite showing pictures of all the mess in the box they didn’t accept them. Not worth the hassle

Absolutely Disappointed – Wouldn’t Even Feed It to My Dog This was my first (and definitely last) time ordering from Muscle Food, and the experience was shocking from start to finish. The delivery was left at the bottom of the stairs in a shared apartment building — not only is that unsafe, but it’s also completely unacceptable for perishable goods. When I finally got to the box, I found food that was close to expiring and shockingly poor in quality. The portions were laughably small, especially for something marketed as high-protein meals. The chicken was the worst I’ve ever seen — fatty, poor quality, and honestly looked like it was meant for dogs. The rump steaks were just as bad: tiny, chewy, and barely edible. I don’t know how they’re still selling this as “premium” or “fitness-focused” food. It was genuinely inedible. If I wanted dog food, I’d have gone to the pet aisle and saved my money. Would not recommend to anyone. Massive waste of time and money.

I was given some vouchers for a birthday, so used them on the ready meals. I must say I was very pleasantly surprised, they are very good size portions and extremely flavourful. I will definitely order again
