Daughter found a shard of hard, sharp plastic embedded in a sausage. Immediately contacted Muscle Food and no reply. Tried again a couple of days later but with now an additional complaint of rancid chicken. Have filled in contact form on their website twice, emailed twice, and used the online live chat (which is only a bot) and still no response. Do not touch these muppets with a barge pole.
I have ordered now about 12 times, every order as always been on time, everything in it as been fresh and well packaged, all products are the best you can get in any butchers not to mention these are specifically premium top quality products for healthy eaters. The promotions and bonus items are excellent, the customer service top notch and delivery services the best.
Impossible to get hold of! Ordered a deal subscription, didn't like the food, so wanted to cancel. Contacted them by email 3 times, they replied after 3 days. Only to confirm the information I've ALREADY given them. I just wanted to cancel the subscription, but they ignored all my emails and tweets, and I'm receiving ANOTHER unwanted batch of meal prepped food today, which I'll just be throwing away. What a waste, and poor customer service. I had this same problem years back with them, but thought it was just a one off. Clearly not.

I had items missing in my order. The customer service said they would issue a voucher but have not done so and its been over a week. This is not the first issue we have had, we've recieved meat that was off before too.
Really easy process. Order, receive enjoy in a few clicks of your buttons. Good quality meat too.
A great selection of products (I only fo the £100 self build hamper). After 3 years of using them I have only ever had one issue which was quickly resolved and rectified within days.
Most of the meat was great, get a lot for your money and it was all present. However, the kilo of chicken thighs smelt rancid, had to bin it as definitely wasn't edible. The breasts were absolutely fine and the chicken sausages we've opened are perfectly fine too. But won't buy from here again because of the thighs, they're in date so not sure what's happened here.
You over charged me by 13 pounds
Their customer service definitely leaves a lot to be desired. Placed an order for delivery on 25/6. On 27/6, there was still no delivery or update on the order. I had to chase up DPD (who are useless) and then Musclefood to find out what was going on. Musclefood eventually got back to me to say unfortunately due to “logistical issues” DPD could no longer deliver and they’d disposed of the parcel due to it being perishable. Whilst it may not be directly Musclefood’s fault, DPD are their chosen carrier, and this is actually the second time this has happened in the space of a few months. Last time I was offered a measly £5 voucher as an apology - and that was only because I asked for compensation as I had to go out and stock up on things whilst waiting for the delayed order. £5 doesn’t even cover the delivery charge. This time they offered a massive £10 voucher - again, only because I asked for compensation. I asked about a partial refund to be told they couldn’t do that. I suspect they mean “won’t” rather than “can’t”. Wouldn’t recommend using them at the price they charge for the total lack of reliability they offer. They’ve re sent out the package “as early as possible”. Which apparently is Wednesday - a full week after the order was supposed to be delivered. Really poor.

Hamper arrived nearly 3 weeks ago, chicken was off! Only thing I have been offered is a £15.00 voucher but I have to spend £30.00 to use it. Been told today that you will not send me fresh chicken, astounded is an understatement, no customer service what so ever. Nearly three weeks and nothing for the money I have spent with you, can you advise me if you think this is acceptable?
