Sadly, my review is mainly negative. All businesses get that and can’t please everyone, but based on the below, decide whether it’s okay or not.
Was a regular customer, some deliveries had some weird coloured chicken breasts so we have to throw away as we didn’t want to risk it. Breasts are from Romania, not UK like the website makes you think. I’ve not only used to order chicken, fyi. Never complained about that thought maybe oh happens.
Then awaiting delivery one day, leave a note for the delivery driver not to leave it in a reception area of the block of flats we live in atm and take it to the concierge as I’m running late from work and my partner is on the meeting at home. The delivery driver ignores it, never rings the flat & my box gets stolen within minutes after being delivered. Police opened and closed the report, as you expect.
I email muscle food and explain the situation. They say nothing else other than I’m sorry to hear that. After hearing the same thing from several emails, I ask whether they would also leave it on a street if I wasn’t home and living in a house? Said YES as it’s meat and can’t redelivered.
I can’t buy from a brand I can’t trust.
I can’t risk losing a lot of money if I receive gone off meat or box damaged, whatever the reason it could be and they turn around and say ‘I’m sorry to hear it’ and don’t take responsibility.
Felt they were quite sarcastic in their emails. Did not care at all. All I wanted to offer me some reassurance we could work together so it doesn’t happen again. NOTHING. & I asked for it, but got ignored to that comment.
So be careful with them.
