Bestelling geannuleeerd en het geld nog altijd niet terug ontvangen. Een Bedrag van 850 euro. Al een maand op mijn geld aan het wachten. Onervaren personeel en leugens vliegen van alle kanten. Dit was mijn laatste bestelling bij makro !
We went to Makro in Cape Gate, and bought over a R150 000.00 of goods. Four Fans broke down, the one was on fire in my bedroom. We bought a gas stove for R18000.00, the door shatter, we phoned them and they told us it will take 3 to 5 workings days to fix. Tomorrow is 2 weeks and not one single person come out to see the stove. My son is getting married this weekend and we told them about our concerns as I am baking the wedding cake, just to be told, it is not their problem. They did not wait 3 to 5 working days for us to pay for the goods. This is not how you treat a person, I will never ever go back. I know I am only one person, but they losing an amount of R8000.00 per month for groceries we buy. I also paid R2000.00 for the extended guarantee on this stove. Why do we need to take this crap?????? For those persons that had good service, I am glad for you.... Maybe you guys had a different Manager, I think they must swap their Manager ones a year, they get to comfortable in their position and thinks the store belong to them.
Ik ben op zoek voor een vernis voor mijn terras en dan lijkt een "yachtvernis" toch zowat wat je wenst ! In de "catalogus 2019" staat Xyladecor yachtvernis 0,75 lit. à €9,39 en 2,5 lit. à €22,99. Ik heb echter wel 10 lit. nodig. Dus maar van Kortrijk naar Eke. Bij de ingang krijg je ook nog een bon van 20% op een non-food artikel en vernis is, denk ik toch, non-food. Dan maar op zoek naar dit produkt. Verwacht geen hulp van de verkoper: 't Is daar mijnheer ! Uiteindelijk een vriendelijke verkoper gevonden maar die blijkt niet slimmer dan ik en vindt het ook niet, zelfs niet in de computer! Alleen naar de directie gaan blijkt een oplossing wat dacht je! Daarbij geraak je niet, de dame aan de balie beweert "Mijnheer dat product is in de drive-in", maar niets daarvan. Uiteindelijk blijkt dat produkt in deze verpakking niet eens te bestaan. Maar ach de 20% is toch ook niet op 1 non-food product , maar op ook slechts 1 verpakking. Dan maar terug naar Kortrijk. Dank je Makro maar niet tot de volgende keer !
6 weken geleden werd ons voorgeïmpregneerd tuinhuis geleverd maar er waren twee planken bij die volledig kapot waren door houtworm bleek tijdens het opbouwen. Netjes gemeld en ervan uitgegaan dat het in orde komt. We zijn 6 weken verder en heb ontelbare mails en telefoontjes achter de rug (vriendelijke groeten aan hun medewerker Jordy bij deze, wat een schatje). Ik bel ondertussen elke dag en word enkel maar aan het lijntje gehouden, steeds komt er weer een nieuwe smoes en praten ze zich er uit. Er gebeurt gewoonweg niets en ondertussen staan onze tuinmaterialen buiten kapot te gaan, is ons gazon grotendeels eraan omdat die vol ligt met delen van het tuinhuis die we niet kunnen verwerken omdat onderaan 2 planken ontbreken. Drama! Nooit meer!
I am DISGUSTED at the behaviour of staff in store. A fire alarm went off and we were walking out, my mother is disabled and can not walk fast. The branch manager “Mahmood” or something similar was SHOUTING at us telling us to hurry up and clapping his hands at us. I then told him that was disrespectful, when he then got closer to me and put his arms up near me shoo’ing me out of the store again while raising his voice. I am disgusted that all the staff walked past every customer and didn’t tell us that meant we had to leave, as other staff members were still packing shelves. This is an awful store and something needs to be done in regards to their training. An update; I then communicated with another member of staff who apparently takes complaints for him to say the member did nothing wrong and that there was a fire so he had the right to do what he did. He shouted at us and aggressively put his arms close to me and was aiming to push me out. Clearly a pattern at this store.
Just returned from MAKRO Lysander Road Bristol BRANCH 580 Where one of the items Sirloin steak purchased, because i wanted half of the very large joint and wanted them cut into individual steaks I was told i had to pay extra £3 pound per Kilo!! I spoke to the warehouse manager and he confirmed that was MAKRO Policy. I advised in the 30 years i have used MAKRO this was the first time i was ever charged extra to have joint butchered the Manger spoke to me very condescendingly with a smirk on his face basically if i did not like it tough. No signage in store to advise there change of policy. Very unhappy Customer
Was better before Bookers took over! had better selection of goods all round before bookers, & staff were happier, but @ Enfield Staff are Gr8 they still treat you like family (Makro family training.) Bookers are trying to get rid of us small businesses, god knows why? Our sons moved to kent but he cant go in bookers hes got to reapply so he said sod em i'll stay loyal to Enfield Makro! Always clean, tidy & usually well stocked (that's Makro for you.) Pricing on damaged goods has gone thro the roof since bookers took over, that's why they're always stacked out with crates of beer & lager that you can buy cheaper in Tesco or morrisons, not like that when it was Makro but I s'pose management know best Ha! Ha! A Shout for ROY on reception & MATHEW on the tills, they're a credit to the company!

I worked for Makro Charlton for not that long when I become ill my doctor signed me off I sent them my sick note. And I got a letter in the post about a meeting witch I did not get it until after the date of the meeting they and then i got another letter telling me that they are terminated my contract i believe that the reason way they did it because i was ill they could say anything regarding this but I know why they did it as they could of waited until the doctor says I can go back to work. Daniel Bernard store manager could of called me he did not I was seeing doctors once a week every week I had to have 3 blood test already and I still need to have 1 more the only thing that is ok was the pay if Daniel Bernard called me I would of told him everything that was going on with me and they do not like disable people as I am disable as well which I have found out this year 2018 and this shop I would not recommend working here for anyone as no staff floor management don't help at all even if you go toilet you will get called all the time to go back to there till all because there there is a line and there could be 2 floor managers around to help witch they do not waist of time this company is managers are very rude dealing with customers and staff they have set me back a bit but they will not win with me. Be fairly warned that if you ever need an Item that is under warranty to be repaired, Makro will do their best to screw you over and even if you can get your item repaired the process takes such a long time that you will need to buy a replacement regardless. 21 working days is not acceptable when my monitor is broken and I can't use my PC without one.
ik heb in juli een tuinhuis aangekocht leveringstijd was ongeveer 6 weken na een week stonden ze al aan de deur dit was positief voor mij . maar de pret was snel gedrukt want ik controleer de materialen en merk op dat deze tuinhuis stukken niet kloppen volgens de handleiding.wij melden dit binnen de 14 dagen aan makro zowel telefonisch als per mail en ik vraag mijn geld terug en om het tuinhuis terug op te halen. ondertussen anderhalf maand verder nog steeds geen geld terug op de rekening tuinhuis ligt nog steeds in mijn garage en wordt gewoon aan het lijntje gehouden door makro na meermaals telefoons gedaan te hebben en mails naar makro gestuurd te hebben. het enigste wat ik vraag is mijn geld terug want vertrouwen in tuinhuis is er niet want wat ontbreekt er nog als er al grote stukken ontbreken wat dan met de kleine stukken dit kan ik niet controleren als materiaal niet overeenkomt met de handleiding. dan nog maar gezwegen van de stabiliteit waar ik mij in ongerust maakt zoals jullie spreken want die is er niet

Makro blijft een vervelende 'oplichter' 1) Bij aanbiedingen van een serie producten, zet de Makro er producten tussen waar geen korting voor geldt en dan kom je bij de kassa en kan je de hoofdprijs betalen. Bovendien zegt de kassa medewerkster niets. Dit lijkt mij pure oplichting. 2) Veel actie-producten zijn al snel niet meer beschikbaar, 'uitverkocht'. Dit is en blijft bedrog van de Makro. 3) Actie-kortingen worden ook regelmatig niet verrekend en mag je bij een actie toch regelmatig de hoofdprijs betalen. 4) Als je op- of aanmerkingen hebt aan de Makro, dan reageert de Makro bijna nooit.
As far as I am concerned Makro is one of the most unethical companies I have encountered & I really object to the fact that they sell live Lobsters in their outlets. This is just pandering to a small minority of people & this totally unacceptable practice should be scrapped with immediate effect. These poor creatures should not be kept in small tanks that are completely inadequate for their needs. Until this cruel, unnecessary aspect of their 'business' has ceased, I for one will not be shopping there as a matter of principle.
Yesterday I went to makro qeensferry it gets smaller every time we go this time they've closed down the old entrance you have to enter and leave by the tills as a disabled customer they could of put a sign on the wall before I walked to the entrance and read the sign I had to walk to the old exit doors I needed the toilet that is by the old entrance so when I got in I asked is the toilet still open the lady said only the disabled so I had to wait to use the disabled toilet because everyone was using it as they've closed the lady's and men's the disabled toilet when I got in had a wet floor I think it was water rubbish on the sink and the cleaning chart had been removed but enough about the toilet most of the items we went for were out of stock as when they closed of area's they had reduced there product list this looks like a company waiting for bankruptcy and a waist of my time and yours going there luckily I've already joined Costco so we went there they have a much bigger warehouse product list and all there toilets are open and clean so that's where I recommend you to join they quite often have a membership deal on Groupon where you can get a voucher for money of first shop £14 a free large pack of batteries a large fresh chocolate fudge cake and a rotisserie chicken so please let us all forget about makro as they've forgotten about us
Products are ok but the staff need a lesson in respect was served by a rude nasty lady she was lucky she didn’t get a snack sort out your staff or I’ll sort them out for you......🤬
