This morning I traveled for 15 miles to shop at Makro in Poole, wearing the necessary PPE equipment and appropriately sanitized I was turned away at the door. I own a retail business and have a valid customer card. I think this is very short sighted in the current climate to be turning customers away, particularly at the time there were very few cars in the car park (around a dozen). I will now think twice before planning another trip to Makro.
Rubbish can’t shop Makro and bookers without business account it’s not for normal person to shop here pray and hope some 1 open big cash and carry in Southend for normal person because these supermarket are only vip
Disappointed to see that children under 16 are not allowed in store. I visited the Croydon branch to be faced with very rude staff. Why haven’t we been notified of this in advance? Why are single parents being discriminated? Are you going to stop over 60’s too as they are more at risk! Absolute joke. Makro can stick their membership!
No children under 16 allowed in stores! Ridiculous discrimination from rude customer service staff who don't have enough knowledge of what they are talking about, trying to explain the rational without the understanding of the topic. What incompetent individual made that decision and what is the basis for the decision as it is in no government guidance nor is any other store in the country deciding the implement such idiotic measures. How are you supposed to visit the store if you have a toddler and no childcare due to the fact we can't visit other households due to local lockdown rules which rules out grandparents/family members, a toddler is not yet at school obviously and as a family of keyworkers my partner happens to be at work helping to care for the most vulnerable individuals at this difficult time meaning I have no choice but to bring my toddler shopping with me. The same applies to single parents. I returned my membership to the customer service staff in a safe way as I wouldn't want my toddler to infect them with Covid and won't be returning the store ever again. Costco were a lot more accommodating and had a much wider range of products.
Nou. Vandaag in de Makro Breda voor het eerst Rioba slagroom gekocht. De Debic slagroom die we normaal altijd kopen zou slecht leverbaar zijn volgens de Makro. Dus we proberen gewoon het huismerk van de Makro een keer, toch? Man, man, man, nog nooit in ons leven hebben we zo een smakeloze slagroom geproefd. Het mag niet eens slagroom heten!!!!! Snel naar de Hanos en of de Sligro. Die hebben geen levering problemen met Debic. Lekkere slagroom voor een voordeligere prijs dan die Rioba zooi van de Makro! Jammer Makro, gemiste kans!
Was refused entry as a carer. They said its government and company policy except it isn't! I rung another branch and wholesalers who both said it was ludicrous! Rayleigh branch discriminate the disabled and no social distance practicing at all from staff, their attitude is unprofessional too!

I can't believe this. It's a joke. No children under the age of 16 are allowed to go in. Yet they have people and staff in there without face masks but kids are allowed in supermarkets and other shops and to think I'm gonna leave my children at home when I come here I don't think so. Very poor from makro
What on earth are Makro thinking not allowing under 16s in store, if the supermarkets etc. are doing so then I can see no rational explanation for it. Disgraceful!
Called up as had a query as to whether my Makro card would be valid at the Greenwich store as was down for work. Lady on the phone VERY rude and abrupt. Went in anyway and queued behind an old man wanting a refund. Presumably the staff member (said Annette on her badge) was the same as the lady I had the misfortune of speaking to on the phone. Couldn’t believe the way she spoke to him! Very very unprofessional and rude as! She definitely needs some customer service training. She was also super rude to a lovely lady who requested to use the toilet before signing in. Fortunately for me (and her, as if she’d served me I’d have asked to speak to her manager to complain) another really helpful lady call Lin who didn’t have an attitude problem, came, listened to my query and sorted me out a pass. A shout out should also go to the cheery man on the checkout who was great! Annette needs to learn from her colleagues about the importance of customer service.

Goederen worden niet geleverd. Geen antwoord op telefoons of mails. Alsook geen antwoord via messenger. Naar de klantendienst in Makro Eke geweest. Goed geholpen, dossier opgestart. Belofte gekregen dat Makro binnen de 5 weken ons geld zou terugstorten. Nu 7 weken later nog steeds geen centen en geen antwoorden!!!!
I have just tried to shop at Makro Croydon, only to be told I cannot take my 5 year old daughter in the shop with me as under 16's were no longer permitted due to coronavirus. However walking behind the manager in the store were two young people whom and in the Managers words 'possibly may not be 16' but they asked the parent and the mother claimed they were. When I asked if the obvious children had proof of their age, I was told they had asked the mother and that was enough. So because my child was 5 she, in my opinion had been excluded from the shop. However if your child is tall enough and under 16 you can go in???? sorry but this is clear victimisation and why are makro enforcing this when other large retailers are allowing children? When I asked the manger I was told he didn't really know what the full explanation was and that it was just on the risk assessment from Head Office. Makro what is the point of issuing risk assessments if your staff clearly have no idea what information they are receiving and for what reason??
Disgusting chicken breasts. slimey tasting even after beating and grilling them practically to death. I've tried several pieces from different parts of this 10kg box and they are all the same. Not off but they have a horrible 'uncooked' in the mouth feel even after repeated battering and burning. Damien at Makro Fareham says it's my fault.......ps they were properly stored at all times
bestel actie via email 1 kopen 1 gratis , 25 zakken meststoffen , dus moet ik er 50 ontvangen , maar nee ik ontvang er 25 allemaal losse zakken van 20 kg in camionette gesmeten waarvan er 7 stuk waren en lekte , mail en bel echter zonder resultaat , mails worden niet beantwoord bellen lukt ook niet want alle lijnen zijn overbelast echt schandalige firma, ik zoek hoe ik mijn geld kan terug krijgen
De goederen worden niet geleverd en niemand antwoord op mijn mail om te zeggen wanneer het wel word geleverd. Als er vandaag geen reactie komt ga ik mijn geld terug vragen via test aankoop. Het is echt schandalig.
