They were so helpful after I nearly cancelled through another company giving me a really crazy price which was more than my trip - Couldn't do enough to help and restored my confidence that I wasn't the liability I felt I was.

Purchased Just Travel insurance for a recent trip abroad that was on the 20th of June 2024, our flight home was delayed by 3 days and the carrier was Easyjet who would not compensate for the delayed flight, so put a claim in with Just Travel on the 4th of July everything they needed sent over so should have been a simple claim over 7 weeks later my claim has still not been resolved. It is being handled by the claims consortium group who say they are still waiting for the underwriters to get back to them awful service bad enough being stuck in a foreign country for an extra 3days without any help from Easyjet and extra expenses out of my own pocket but now the insurance company are dragging their heels not good enough is this day and age with everything digitised and at the push of a computer button.

I took out a policy with Just Travel and had to make a claim. Everytime I call the person dealing with my claim (Roger Rich & Co) is either not in the office or on another call. Called again today to be told the girl dealing with my claim will either email me today if not Tuesday with still no update or anything. I really do not think I would buy insurance from this company in the future as I travel many times in a year and the delays in processing my claim is simply poor. Fingers crossed I will get a resolution soon enough. I don't even have a claim reference number either so not entirely sure I am actually dealing with a legit company the ones I have to call are named 'Roger Rich & Co' claims consortium. It makes consumers more aware of which insurance company to use in these situations. 27/9/24- still no where near forward everytime I call I am told someone will be in touch but nothing... I really do not know how to proceed with this but I would please warn consumers from using this company for travel insurance and then have to make a claim as the waiting time is endless. Update 21/10- just travel insurers been in touch three months later to advise they do not cover for IT Outage and sorry so the many people they advised have the same issue will all be told sorry no claim. I will never use this insurer again nor will I recommend it to anyone such a poor poor experience.

Started a claim in May, still unresolved a month gap between each email response when phoning for updates the number is for a middle agency not the company itself. Everytime they email they’ve either not read the information provided or ask for more information that should have been asked for originally, classic delay tactics.

I have purchased a full annual cover with Just Travel. However, please note that they do not cover a one way flight... So basically, paid for something which I cannot use, just because I do not have a flight back booked yet, which is a bit silly.

This company messed up my Schengen visa application by putting France on the insurance documents instead of the usual, official “Europe” as the destination and this was flagged as wrong during my biometrics appointment. I rang them to correct the mistake they had made and they refused, except I paid extra hence they extorted money from me and blamed me for their mistake. Now finding out from my friend who had the same problem with them that they apologised and corrected hers for free. Very dishonest and unreliable!

I booked travel insurance with Just Travel for a 2 week Caribbean cruise at the time of booking the trip. This was a year in advance of the trip which I thought was sensible and covers any unfortunate occurrences if problems arise. At a later date my wife who was included on the cover developed a medical condition and I promptly informed Just Travel who informed me I would need to pay an additional amount to cover this condition. My argument is that surely the insurance should cover these unfortunately problems but apparently not. Why on earth do you take insurance cover if it turns out you are not covered when your health deteriorates during the term of the cover. Now what makes this more annoying is that we had an annual European travel insurance policy with another reputable travel insurance company and when I informed that insurer they stated that because I had already taken the insurance cover that we were covered and no extra premium was required. This to me seems logical and is probably a better insurance company. The moral of my experience is be careful using Just Travel because if you need to claim they will do every thing to get more money from you. When I raised this with Just Travel they said it was the under writers problem AIG and I should talk to them.
