They refuse to produce VAT invoices

They refuse to produce VAT invoices. This appears to be in contravention of UK law, and they don't seem to mind - their excuse is that their systems can't cope with, so they just don't bother. As their is no VAT invoice, VAT can't be reclaimed, so in effect for business users that can reclaim VAT, their prices are 20% higher than they say they are.

Been with Justhost over 15 years and…

I've been with Justhost over 15 years, and they used to be brilliant. Recently, all our business emails stopped functioning, unknown to me, my clients were not receiving my emails and thought I was ignoring them. I lost thousands of pounds in lost business, and some clients took their business elsewhere. For a long while, customers with Gmail accounts were not receiving my emails, which caused a headache, and I put it down to going into spam, but it turns out they just never received them at all. Having contact support through webchat, I was informed it was my SPF records and that they have fixed them and to wait 48 hours to propagate, all will be fine which it wasn't, all in all I spent almost 12 hours on and off to approx 10 members off support who had me answer the same questions over and over, giving the same cut and paste answers and that they have just changed my SPF records and give it another 48 hours. When I try and explain this is fourth time time they have done this, you get an answer such as "Glad we could help, please answer our questionnaire." and chat ended. I rang their support line in the US which is directed to the Philippines which cost me £60.00 for 20 minutes but found the same old I have just updated your SPF records and wait 48 hours, they don't care my business was being seriously affected. At the end of my tether, I paid a local IT company to look at my settings, and within 2 minutes, they explained that my emails were being routed incorrectly, they sorted it out within 1 minute and were shocked at how incompetent Justhost support are. Justhost Support haven't a clue what they are doing and all ten or more people I spoke to told me lies rather than admit they don't know what they are doing, The whole ordeal was extremely stressful and I am certain this bunch of lying, incompetent novices would still have me on the merry-go-round from Hell! I am in the process of having my website and emails transferred to the local company that helped me out and I strongly advise anyone reading this look elsewhere. I hope this company goes bust for all the damage they have caused my company and for the blatant disregard they have shown. Please avoid this company like the plague. They are cheap for a reason. Reading other reviews, I will make sure they are not able to take funds from my account come renual date. What a shambles

The customer service person -

The customer service person, who I had to ask to just SLOW her speech so I could understand her....actually was very competent. I've been on JustHost for many years and was having difficulty altering my website; turns out, the changes WERE going through. Chrome was the problem; once I emptied my images in cache, I could see the changes went through. JustHost is reasonably priced and I have been very happy using WEEBLY, a free add-on. I made my own website, and it has successfully helped people find my services for many years.

Used to be great now a shadow of its former self

Looks like it's time to change having been with JustHost for many years. The servers are slow, so many timeouts / bad gateways. The Live Chat function is hit or miss. You can't buy or host .co.uk domains through them either. They advertise WordPress Live Chat but it doesn't exist (much preferred Weebly). They need to either evolve or disappear, so many competitors in this space now.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. JustHost attempted to take over $500 from my account. No prior warning and cost had quadrupled overnight for no apparent reason. Then when I tried to leave they dragged out the process with no communication and overall made it very difficult to leave. I decided to leave as their overall service, cPanel and customer service has become appalling and had continually got worse over the last 3 years and it's very difficult to speak to someone. When they do, they never resolve the issue properly. Avoid!

Unhelpful? Unwilling?

In the years that I have been with JustHost it has never been an easy process to get hold of ANYONE over there in any timely fashion. But when I changed my domain name registrar to another business I have had nothing but trouble from a very uncooperative JustHost. Unbelievably limited communication skills, the humans you end up speaking with are very slow in responding to anything you write on their chat. Chat is the ONLY WAY in which you can contact the firm, and it is EXTREMELY LIMITED as the support personnel's ability to speak in English is very limited. My latest issue with Justhost is hopefully the last one, as it is very painful having to deal with anything that is not very basic and can easily be solved.

Very underhand

Very underhand. I am sure they were acting illegally. I accidentally left four of my Domain Names pointing at their Nameservers. They employed a 'Parking' company to build a page for each of the Domain names advertising things that I do not sell on Amazon. I effect Just Host hijacked my Domain Names to sell goods to benefit themselves. Why didn't they just email me and say "sorry but we have noticed your domain names are pointed at our Nameservers can you move them please?" A very disreputable company as you can see from the reviews here.

Avoid just host disgusting company

Hi all I made this mistake of paying them without talking to my web designer who told me they should not have sent me a bill for £359.00 as we had changed web host last year to site ground ! I spent 90 minutes on there chat as soon as I told them I needed it refunded that cut me of there chat ,on 28 October, I went back on this morning for 1 hour and explained I’m not happy with there service in any way they said they won’t refund me and cut me off again absolutely disgusting company avoid them !! ABSOLUTEL FRAUDSTERS

ABSOLUTEL FRAUDSTERS! I stopped using Just Host's services over 5 years ago, yet they they have used my PayPal account details to try and take £562 THREE times from 3 separate cards, without any prior notice to me. This means that I have had to cancel all of the cards linked to my PayPal account.

I have had nothing buy problems with…

I have had nothing buy problems with JustHost, the whole time i have been with them. My email is always blocked. I even lost my whole website, and they didn't have a backup. I would highly recommend going to another place and avoid all the headaches...and I do mean headaches.

Great customer service!

Thank you Just Host for your great customer service. Carlo C. was very kind and helpful and pressed through to fix the email problem that was creating havoc for our business emails, before we even got off our call. Also, I appreciated being able to call and right away talk to a representative.
