No service.. and lots of down time....

I have had constant problems with this company. We are switching hosting companies it is so bad. Spend an hour on hold.. again. They couldn't fix their own mistakes. It is beyond frustrating and we even upgraded to our own VPS.

Great Customer service

I am really shocked to read the reviews of this company. I have been with them nearly 4 years and they have been fantastic. Always someone at the end of the phone to resolve problems and never any major issues with service. I was with 1and1 before and they were by far the worst company on the planet...totally awful. By comparison these guys are amazing!!!

Avoid

I have been with them for 5 years as I got a very good deal (£87). Now that it is over, I m really happy to leave. If you don't have any issues, then it's fine. But who doesn't? They never resolved any of my problems (had to rely on forums and IT friends), AND trying to chat with them has a waiting time of at least one hour (it will says 30 mn, but this is just for the appearance. MInutes at justhost seem to be slower, maybe some disturbance in the spacetime fabric? who knows...). For example, I asked for an update of my domain IPS tag to point to my new provider. That was 4 days ago. Still nothing except, of course, the site being offline for 4 days. Great. Just stay away.

Customer Service

I signed up for a discounted rate of hosting for the first year. On that coming up for renewal i requested discount on normal rates to stay. 50% was offered plus free renewal of domain name and applied to shopping cart. The domain name then auto renewed at full rate. I questioned this and was told that we dont offer discounts after first year and any proof of discount i was offered would have been wiped. I would have to pay full rates to stay or leave.

Incompetent and unreasonable

We have been trying to get a IPS Tag changed on a domain name for over 96 hours, we have had to set up 3 support tickets and chat to JustHost numerous time. On their website under the help section it says a IPS Tag change will take up to 24 hours, we were also told this by a couple of members of staff. After the first 24 hours we contacted them and asked them what the hold up was, we were told an influx of work and that the changes would be done within another 24 hours. Today 96 Hours later we were told they never received our request and then shot themselves in the foot and said we have did receive it 4 days ago. An IPS Tag change takes a matter of minutes if that, we understand big companies are busy but to constantly lie and find excuses is terrible. Every member of staff we spoke to tries to do as less as they possible which makes our job and yours even harder. I'm know why they have a poor rating across multiple platforms.

Fraudsters

I purchased hosting service from these guys in 2009, and when I no longer needed it, I cancelled it in 2012. Got an email from them, saying "When ready, please follow the cancellation link, read all information carefully and complete the cancellation form. We'll take care of everything from there." Now, in 2015 got charged by them again to my credit card. Contacted them, they said that I cancelled "hosting service" only, but not "domain registration" and that they will not refund the money.

You dont realize how bad these guys are

Emails are down on a daily basis, low tranfer rates, high downtime and no response to support tickets. Way too expensive for the lousy service. If we need a hosting service, please look somewhere else.

Just Lies

They are promising 99.9% uptime, I've got 25% and slow server response. They are promising professional help, I had to nuke my account to restore a folder. They are promising 30 days money back guarantee, I've got charged $111 for 5 days of what they call "service". DON'T USE Just Host!

24/7 Support my (blank)

You know when you call a company and you have to hold for a little while to be connected, usually during peak times? Imagine that first thing in the morning... For over an hour... Their support is an absolute joke and with (and I quote from Live Chat) "..no provisioning for call-backs..". As someone who works in the I.T. Industry, I know that if I had a customer on hold for that time I'd be hung, drawn and quartered and having no provisioning for call-backs is madness. I've dealt with enough large companies over the years who have 24/7 support to know how it's done right, and hell, even Microsoft have provisioning for call-backs. I cannot strongly recommend that you use someone else for your web-hosting and domain needs.

Excellent value

Used for several years and been satisfied. Customer support is by ticket and so not instant but on the few occasions I needed to contact them they were helpful. Downtime has been very rare. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone needing a shared hosting plan. Can't speak to their VPS or other services.

Poor customer service and technical support

I've used JustHost for a couple of years now without any problems because I haven't had any support issues during that time. Recently, my account was deactivated due to so called 'malware viruses' found on several of my Wordpress sites. Just Host immediately deactivated the account without a detailed explanation. It then took several phone calls to get an explanation/resolution from their technical support, I then spent £130 for Site Doctor service to remove the 'viruses' and I was told it would take up to 48 hours to restore the service. It has been over 4 days and I have yet to receive an phone call/email with a status update. Be warned. Stay well clear of Just Host!

Used to be good...

Maybe the fact that I feel that JustHost used to be good is because I had never really needed to use their support. When I did need it, I had a diabolical experience, not to mention being told a number of times that 'we don't provide support for that', when my site started to go down intermittently they were rather unhelpful. They went through a couple of possible causes but when they didn't rectify the situation, JustHost started to ignore me. Site was down and I couldn't get hold of them. I tried live chat and after waiting nearly an hour, I was told that the problem must be at my end (despite me trying to access my website from different devices AND different networks.) They just don't want to know.

WARNING do NOT use Just Host Site Doctor Service

I used the service and they did not fix the problem. They had a 100% money back guarantee. When I did as for the refund the replied if i wanted the refund the would deactivate my website. Not a fair way to do business i believe and a shame as the Just Host hosting service is quite good.

Hopeless

These guys are so frustraing.. I used them for just over a year and I can not count the amount times my site and my client's sites have gone down... but in the last 2 months it has been at least 5 times (that I've noticed)... Don't be fooled by the "24 hour support" it's automated and unhelpful, and if you are a reseller account (the more expensive option) you are only entitled email support which has a response time of over 24 hrs I am in the process of moving all my sites a way from them. I cannot advise people enough NOT to use them.
