Ordered a Sternglas for my son's 21st at end of June. Upon purchase, with item showing as "in stock" on website, on June 3rd, I received my confirmation email stating 2- 3 weeks for delivery. As it was more than 3 weeks until the birthday, I thought I'd wait it out. Long story short, after several more weeks ( it's 21st July today) and several calls, with call handlers repeatedly suggesting that the issue was with Sternglas, not them, and I should receive the watch soon, I have now cancelled my order. This morning I was told that the refund would take 7-14 working days to process.
I thought that maybe I'd been unlucky, but there are quite a few 1 star reviews on here from the last few weeks, so maybe there are some issues at Jura Watches/CW Sellors. I certainly won't be using them again.
**Edit 1 week after order cancelled and refund initiated**
No comms from Jura, except via Trustpilot, asking for more info to verify that review was genuine. Called to seek update on refund, told it was still pending. Asked to speak to customer relations supervisor (call handlers have always been very polite and apologetic, so didn't feel it fair to complain to them), was put on hold for 10 minutes before call disconnected. Will await a callback, but not holding my breath.
**2nd edit after reply from Jura**
You are incorrect. Had the watch been showing on the website as not being in stock, I simply wouldn't have ordered it. Only after my order was accepted was I informed it would take 2-3 weeks to fulfill the order. I called immediately to confirm that the order would be received prior to my son's birthday at the end of June and was reassured that orders were normally completed within that timescale. Several weeks later, after numerous calls and with my son's birthday having passed there was still no sign of the watch. I contacted Sternglas directly, who told me they had no record of any order from you either directly or via their UK distributor. Every facet of my dealings with your company has been substandard, and now you've surpassed yourselves by somehow implying that it is *my* fault that you could not supply a watch in almost 8 weeks that the manufacturer were able to supply direct from Germany in less than 48 hours. An utterly unique approach to customer relations.
