This is for store at 10 Northwest …Jo-Ann

This is for store at 10 Northwest blvd in Nashua New Hampshire. I just visited this store and was waiting for someone to cut me piece of fabric, even though i ring the bell nobody showed up.I prepared fabric on table so that way it would be easier for associate to just cut and after i was still waiting i left the number and was near looking at some other stuff as it was stated near by and when i heard voices i returned to the table and next costmer was asking about some fabric and i said that i was already here and left the number . The joung woman who works there she said that she will take me after and started serving other costumer . I just walked out and didn’t buy anything . Bad treating of costumer . Not going in this store again

It's sad to have watched JoAnn go…

It's sad to have watched JoAnn go continually downhill for the last several years, and apparently, they really don't care. If you read reviews everywhere, they are all BAD. Joann is now the very, very last place I go to get fabric. I'd rather pay a higher price at a quilt shop, or even shop at Hobby Lobby, the internet or Walmart than go to Joann. Last time I was in the store, there were at least 15 people waiting to have fabric cut and in line at the check out, I counted at least 25 people standing in line. Needless to say, I left without spending a penny. This store is ALWAYS like this. Please don't think that you are the only place to get fabric, Joann. If these practices are continued, you'll be going out of business, just like a lot of other fabric stores. Very sad.

Coupon Mailings are Just a Waste of Time!

I have always loved your stores for my crafts and school projects, but it is so frustrating when I try to use the coupons that receive in the mail. This the 3rd time in the past 4 weeks where I wasn't able to! I purposly look for items that AREN"T on sale, so I could use the 60% off coupon. Second time when attempting to purchase ribbon.. The bins were NOT marked for any sale, and when I go to the register the rep states , 'it's on sale, so I can't use the coupon!" Why then aren't the bins marked as such before I waste time, choose an item(s), wait on line, onlty to have to get out of the line and start all over again! I don't know why you even waste time and money on mailings, when the coupons can SELDOM be applied..Lately, I'm finding AC Moore and Michael's are more accomodating! :(

Walked out of Joanns in Greeley after standing in line 7 minutes while the clerk was on the phone for a customer just ahead of me. She never acknowledged that I was waiting or called for another associate to check me out.

Wow!!!

Wow!!!! DO NOT SHOP ARE JOANN FABRICS IN STREAMWOOD IL ON BARRINGTON ROAD. This is the second time I've walked out without buying anything and the second time I've ever been in the store. That's not a good track record. The first time was because the lady cutting the fabric had such a bad attitude and told me when I asked her the price she said there are price checkers around the store. The other lady she was working with corrected her and said that they've all been taken down. Then when she was cutting the fabric i noticed she was cutting and measuring everything just short of a yard. If that wasn't bad enough when I got the ticket I realized she wrote it all up at the full price instead of the sale prices. So I left rather then deal with her sour attitude. This time on a Saturday there was one person at the cutting table and what I discovered as only one person at the cash register. There was a line of 5 people waiting to have fabric cut. The woman at the cutting desk was moving in slow motion until she stopped to have a long drown out conversation about a coupon for a customer. So I just grabbed the fabric out of my cart and went to the cash register where i had to wait again for a long time and endure discussions about coupons all in slow motion. Once I got to the counter I told the lady I wanted to buy the whole bolt and she said I have to go back to the cutting counter and have it measured. So I asked her why there is only 2 people in the store on a Saturday and she said well one person was on lunch. Still 3 people running the whole store on a Saturday seems ridiculously slim. Finally I asked for the corporate number and she gave me a number that was disconnected and referred me to another number. When I called the correct number I got this off putting music piped through singing lyrics about being happy as if I was suddenly in the middle of a romper room television program. OMG ! Now by this point I was so annoyed at the whole experience I talked to someone that wanted my zip code and my first AND LAST name for some reason. Just for me to voice a complaint. I responded that I wasn't applying for a credit card I was simply trying to offer you my experience and advice. Well because I wouldn't give my last name and personal zip code where i lived (different from where the store was located) I was sent to a supervisor and the supervisor sounded like he had just woken up from a nap and wanted me to tell him the entire story again. Now THAT really got me annoyed so I told him I was trying to do them a favor and give my opinion but it doesn't matter to me because I'll never step foot in another JOANN FABRICS store again if my life depended on it. What poorly run out of touch operation.

My email to customer service says it…

My email to customer service says it all. Never again! I was told online yesterday that the vender “Notions” that you deal with is the problem. They said that basically I am powerless to do anything but wait, they told me I could not cancel the order, that I am basically without options and that I have to wait patiently and if I receive my order and don’t want it, then I can ship it back and get a refund. Care to place a bet on whether or not I will every order from Joann’s again? I can’t get my item from someplace else now because I am in limbo on an order I can’t cancel. The reason I want the option to cancel is because ya’ll should have sent my order in a timely manner and you didn’t and you didn’t even have the common decency to reach out to me and apologize for the order taking longer to process and ship than it should have. I would still have no word from you had I not emailed TWICE and the last email was day before yesterday and then called customer service for your company and waited on the phone forever. That really did me no good talking to someone yesterday, because no one can give me an answer on when I should expect my order to ship. How would you feel if you were expecting a beautiful diamond painting that you had been excited to receive, if you were excited to get it at a wonderful price and couldn’t wait to get it to your door to start on it, only to have a company not process your order, but to not give any satisfaction as to when it will be delivered. I am not asking for anything but what I paid for, but that’s how I feel like I’m being treated. Like I should be patient because I’m asking for something for free, even though that is not the case. I ordered another diamond painting(white wolf) before I ordered this one (dragon princess), but I ordered through Michaels. It took them approximately 2 hours to process and ship my order and I had it within the week. I’ve ordered from Blitsy, and had my order in 3 days. Amazon=2 days. Hobby Lobby=within the week. Joann’s=whenever they feel like getting around to it. This has happened with ya’ll before and I can’t believe I trusted y’all again. I won’t be making that mistake again. This has been an absolute nightmare. The last time ya’ll disappointed me was when I ordered a Cricut bundle that came with the golden Cricut mascot. I was so excited. Two days after I checked the status to see if it had shipped and ya’ll had canceled the order and when I questioned it, ya’ll said you had mistakenly oversold the product. It was a beautiful limited addition bundle exclusive to Joann’s and I got screwed out of it and my Cricut mascot which if you look on EBay for him, sells for an enormous amount of money now. So can you imagine why I am so angry now? Can you understand the level of frustration? I’m usually a very nice person, but when I say here is my money, I want this product and I am so excited to receive it and then ya’ll do stuff like this, I feel like I could breathe fire. That must be the opposite of inspiration, angry frustration. But I’m not going to put myself through this again, it’s just not fair to myself to keep trying to deal with a company who doesn’t even reach out to the customer when they disappoint them. Imagine if you paid for Netflix because you wanted to watch Stranger Things or some Netflix exclusive and you were so excited to watch it. You got the popcorn all ready and sat down at the designated time and some show you hated came on instead and Netflix never explained or tried to make it right with you? How would you feel? Magnify that by at least three times Joann’s has done something frustrating like that to me and you will know how I feel. Your crafting should provide you an outlet, not cause you to have more stress. It’s just not right. Sincerely, Mary Lovill

I am done with JoAnn

I am done with JoAnn. As a loyal customer of over 20 years I have watched as my shopping experience has become more disappointing with each visit. From a filthy, not just messy, but genuinely dirty restroom.to aisles cluttered with boxes filled with merchandise that never seem to disappear, to checkers and workers who do not apply discounts or sales that I have been entitled to, it has become an angry, overwhelmingly sad experience for me to even think about going into the store. It will be hard to find ways to purchase items I counted on buying from them but I can't keep getting disappointed each time I visit, nor do I have the time to wait when they offer to "call the manager". The time has come to cross them off my list.

Shipping nightmares from warehouse....its not 6-10 days if ever!!

Place an order on 2/22/19, in stock items, however, 6-10 business days to ship? Emailed on 3/2, got a response on 3/5, checking into it, Day 10 3/8 I emailed asking for a follow-up, someone is reaching out to warehouse to find out and will get back to me? 3/10 I emailed again, requesting immediate shipping overnighted to my house. No response, I emailed again on 3/11. No response since 3/8 from anyone. I guess they don't like to be put on the spot, today 3/12 I called waited 17:23 min before someone could pick up my call, which is an indicator that their service sucks with a wait time so long. Katie wasn't capable of doing much once she did answer, she couldn't check with the warehouse, she couldn't cancel the order, but supposedly she said Virginia canceled the order. I hope for their sake it is canceled. In this day and age of on-line shopping Joann.com needs to step it up 100 steps in order to get any business on this site, its horrible.

Multiple Charges

Apparently if you place an order online they place a hold on your account for the total of your purchase and then if it is shipped from multiple stores your account will be charged the total of everything you receive as you receive it, so I placed an order for approximately $88. After receiving my first package I showed a charge for $88 as well as a charge for $56. The total of the fabric that I had received was $56. This overdrew my account and resulted in an overdraft fee. After receiving my final package the initial hold was released, however I have now spent way more on this fabric than I am comfortable doing because of the overdraft fee. All they could tell me was that I can see this information on their FAQs page. I do not have or take the time to read every inch of a website before placing an order. They have told me that this is my problem and there is nothing they can do about it.

Their online services are a disaster

Their online services are a disaster. I ordered 20 yds of a fabric on sale to pickup in store. after a couple of weeks and I hadn't heard anything so I called the store then customer service. IT issues they said, lots of folks not getting notifications. And they never had got the 20 yds to the store-only 5 yds and that was what I was supposed to pick up? Then of course they were out of stock so there was no way to fill my order. I just went to fabrics.com and had a good experience there. A little more expensive but it was a better quality material. Be wary of Jo-Ann online, what a mess!

Don't order anything online from this company

I ordered 4 yard of material thru their online website. They sent me 1 yard of the material that I ordered, and then cancelled the order for the other 3 yards. This company should know that if you ordered 4 yards, you need ALL that you ordered instead of just 1 yard. Now they want me to pay almost $8 to return the 1 yard of material that I can't do anything with. What a SCAM!!!

False advertising for free pick-up in store

The "Pick up free in-store" advertising is false. I ordered 3 fabrics - 1 yard each - at 9am. It is now 4pm and I have yet to receive any notification that the order is available for pickup. And the website does not provide any abilility to cancel or change the order. If I wanted to wait days for my order, I would have just ordered fabric from another source and had it shipped. I doubt Joann Fabrics will be in existence in a another year or so.

DO NOT place an online order for in…

DO NOT place an online order for in store pickup!!! You will not get the items ordered. Their incompetent staff and point of sale software is outdated and cannot keep up accurately. Not only this, you get to go stand in their very long line just to have a cashier not know anything or be able to help. They call for help and the manager is equally inept and doesn't care to help or bother to help with items they no longer have in stock and you have just now wasted time, when you could have just gone to the store, picked your items and still stood in their long line, to still have an ignorant cashier and manager that don't know anything and can't help, and won't help. Don't waste your time with ordering online for instore pickup. Not worth it.

Do not deal with this organization

Do not deal with this organization. This is my attempt to settle a matter with this store. To Joann’s Customer service, I do hope that this matter will be resolved quickly. Over the last week, I have spent over three hours on the phone with representatives from your company. Yesterday, I talked with a representative in Ohio named Alana. I had ordered 4 frames from your store on November 21. These frames were for a set of marched antique prints. I received two frames with the assurance that the other two would arrive soon. Thinking everything would be okay, my husband and I matted, framed, and hung two of the prints. We waited patiently for the next two frames to arrive. Finally last Wednesday,December 5, I e-mailed my concerns and also called one of your representatives who assured me that I would hear from someone in your company within 72 hours. Well, no communication ever came. On Friday, December 7, I went on to my Pay Pal account to check my transactions, and lo and behold, I saw that I had a refund from your store of $23.96. Remember, I NEVER HAD ANY WORD FROM YOUR COMPANY; so the only way I knew that the other two frames would not be delivered was through my checking Pay Pal!!! I immediately sent another e-mail and again called your representative in Ohio—waiting at least 30 minutes to be connected. Finally, I spoke with Alana. She checked and found out that the other two frames were out of stock and would not be delivered. She offered to send a return label so that I could return the two frames. Well, that couldn’t be done since we had already thrown away the boxes and did not have boxes to fit the frames. As I said, these are four matched antique prints to be hung on one wall. I absolutely need four matching frames. After much consultation with her supervisors, Alana said that your company would refund the other $23.96 and that I could keep or donate the frames. I have already taken steps to donate these frames to Goodwill, and I have ordered 4 new frames from another vendor. (By the way, I spent a considerable amount of time calling other Joann’s stores to see if anyone had the frames. The store in Sarasota had one. The store in Fort Meyers stock list said that they had 3—no, when I checked, they had none. The other store in Fort Meyers listed 8 in stock—no, when I checked, they had none! We would have driven two hours if we could have located these frames since two of the prints have already been matted, framed, and hung—no small task!!) It would seem that, in your stores, the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing!!!! I checked my Pay Pal account this morning and there was no refund; so I am writing this e-mail. This will be the last action I take before I send this e-mail to Pay Pal to resolve this matter!! I shall also post this e-mail or a facsimile thereof on every review site I can find for Joann’s stores. I have been a faithful customer of Joann’s for many years. In the hours I have spent this week waiting for customer service representative, I have listened over and again to the recording that reports how important customer relations are. I have not, in this case, unfortunately, found this to be true. I would like this matter to be resolved and the refund given. I despair of anyone from your company contacting me since, for some reason, even though you promise a response, none is forthcoming. Sincerely, Sheila C. Henry

Shop elsewhere!

Joann lists items that they don't have. They sold me yards of fabric, then 18 days later cancelled it because the items were out of stock. Yet online they still list the items. I called customer service and the items online really are out of stock- but are still listed! I emailed again and was basically told "too bad". Joann does not care at all about customers.

My sister bought yarn in a jo-Ann store…

My sister bought yarn in a jo-Ann store and sent it to me to crochet hats for her. The yarn was on sale for $5 a skien and two of the aliens were not the right weight for what I was making. I went into my local store to exchange them for equal aliens that would work. Was not allowed to exchange but was told I could return and get an in store card. Not knowing exactly what was happening I said ok. So the girl took enough information from me to do a police check on me. And before I knew it she gave me a card worth $5 for two skiens of yarn. I went to the yarn section thinking that maybe they were on sale for that amount. I had to use the card because it was otherwise useless. I paid $7 for one yarn. Why was I given $2.50 for one when I could have just went back and got two and exchanged equally! 😡😡😡 I will not be shopping at Jo-Ann stores anymore
