I placed an order online and chose curbside pickup. I even selected text messages to update me on my order status. I called the store to see if it was ready after not hearing anything, and was told that it usually took 24 hours for those orders to be filled which I knew was a lie because this was not the first order I had placed. The employee was just too lazy to work and obviously she is not the only one because the next day I still had not received any kind of message to pick up my order. Go somewhere else, you are just wasting time and money here.

It took me over 105 times to get…

It took me over 105 times to get through to the greece location. Not only did i sit in my car for over an hour waiting to talk to someone but when I did I got disconnected and no one called me back to say pull up. I had to call another 37 times just to get someone back on the line. I understand things are hard at this time but this is the only store that i have a problem with curbside pick. The other location are great and I will continue to use them. But Greece Store is absolutely horrible. I was not the only car waiting there for over an hour. And the other drivers where just as disappointed. Absolutely crazy.

Jo Ann’s Fabric Not really In Stock!

Jo Ann’s Fabric doesn’t deliver on ordered items! I understand with Covid19 , there is high demand for non woven interfacing but they keep canceling my order. I waited for it to be in stock, ordered it and a day later they cancel the order. Next time I ordered it, A Jo Ann’s representative promised it would come on Wednesday. A week after I ordered it plus the website said “In Stock” they again canceled it. Frustrating!

I placed an order for the first time…

I placed an order for the first time tonight 04/17/2020 for a singer sewing machine 4452. I've added the item in my cart and proceeded to check out, pushed the button to placed my order then the site told me item is not available, yeah right! Joann should let the buyer knows that item is out of stock before they go through the check out process, it's a waste of time!

I ordered from their order online/ pick…

I ordered from their order online/ pick up in store service amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and I was waiting for my email, but they never contacted me to tell me to come to the store. So I searched up the location of my Joann and found out that it wasn’t even OPEN. Why would they put a store that is not even open as an option for pick up in store? Then I decided to come into store, wait in line, and they told me to come back the next day after waiting in like for 30 minutes. If a website clearly states “closes at 3” THEY SHOULD STOP TAKING CUSTOMERS AT 3 EXACTLY. So essentially, Joann wasted my time TWICE: first by letting me order from a store that isn’t even OPEN and second by letting me wait in line for 30 minutes when they didn’t even let me in. Will not be going to Joann again

I placed a large order on April 04,2020…

I placed a large order on April 04,2020 and I'm still waiting for the items. I've filled out their "contact us" form and I tried calling. I've gotten NO response from the "contact us" and calling just gives a recorded message to fill out the form. They keep sending emails every couple of days says "Uh uh items from your order are no longer available". Perhaps if you had filled my order when I placed it that wouldn't be a problem. They charged my account for the full amount on the day I placed the order and it was almost a week later when the charges were cleared. I will never shop with them again. I understand these are challenging times but giving your customers NO way to contact you isn't acceptable.

Found out my order was cancelled without any notification

Order for store pick up 2 weeks ago. I don't mind the delay and was expecting it. I waited patiently for my order. Got the confirmation yesterday that it was ready to pick up finally, yay! I go to the store today and wait in the long line of cars. When it comes my turn, the worker informs me that my order had been cancelled. Cancelled? I got the confirmation just yesterday to pick it up and waited 2 weeks, how can it all of a sudden be cancelled? I received no notification of this. He explained that if the order is over 10 days old, it is automatically cancelled. What?! This makes no sense in the current circumstances with orders being delayed. The guy working there was very polite and courteous. It's not their fault. It's corporate's fault. Even the information in my confirmation email was incorrect. They are giving customers wrong information and making it difficult on their employees as well as their customers. They are so disconnected as to what is going in actual stores. And I wasted an hour going to pick up an order that didn't even exist. I agree with other customers, why do they keep blasting marketing emails, when they can't even fulfill orders. They don't care about the people, only profits. Also, still waiting on an order I placed two weeks ago to ship to my house. Never shopping here again. PS. Their ready-to-pick-up emails also TELL customers to go IN the store when they are not supposed to!

BE AWARE OF JOANNE FABRICS!!!!!!!

BE AWARE OF JOANNE FABRICS!!!!!!!! We placed an order on April 6th. WE never received an email with a confirmation or an order number.. we found that a transaction had been made by JoAnne Fabrics to our bank even though we never got any conformations for our order. They took the money from our bank account and we never received conformation or our order. I believe this is illegal. we tried to get help from the store and calling/ sending emails but to no avail. No help whatsoever from anyone!

I'm not upset with the delays and…

I'm not upset with the delays and partial shipments. I'm upset that Joann keeps advertising sales and taking our money when they are unable to fulfill orders. I've received at least 6 emails from them today. I canceled their text messages, but I was also getting multiple texts a day, too. I also received an ad marketing supplies for mask making. My last 3 orders have been delayed with all my supplies for mask making. I complained to someone at the top and received a gift certificate. My gift certificate was applied, but in the final screen the gift amount wasn't deducted. Nice trick to have me purchase more from you, Joann. Joann is starting to feel like one big scam. Sales of supplies they can't actually ship. Again, if they were honest about their struggling to get products out I would have compassion. But if you know you can't fulfill orders, stop advertising!! You are knowingly cheating your customers by taking payments for things you can't deliver.

Do not order online

Ordered an item on April 7th. Received an email 2 days later that my order is being delayed. The status just show processing. I sent an email asking for the status of my order but no reply other then the automated response email. I was able to find the item somewhere else and I’m holding onto it in case they cancel my order. I don’t want to use the item I bought because i don’t want to go through the returning process with Joann and be charged a restocking fee. I would like to know if they are going to cancel my order or not so that I can move on with my life. This is the first time I’ve ordered from their site and never again. I order a lot online from other stores and everyone have been able to deliver...There is no excuse! If you can’t handle online orders then provide a warning upfront before the customers place the order so that they know what they are getting themselves into. Also is there a customer service number??? What kinda a business is this that you can’t speak to someone on the phone?

I placed an order online on Saturday…

I placed an order online on Saturday and received the message that my order pickup would be delayed. It's now Thursday and I've heard nothing. No message to pick up my merchandise, no message that order has been canceled, nothing. I will never place an online order with them again. I would like to say that I placed an order with Staples just yesterday and it arrived at my house just moments ago. Now that's what I call good service. Jo-Ann's has a lot to learn in the world of e-commerce. Never again!!!

I bought the pinking shears on Joaan…

I bought the pinking shears on Joaan online Saturday, April 11, 2020, it said in the ad it will be ready the next day. When I went the next day to Joann Store in 4948 Monroe st, in Toledo, the store is closed during Easter Sunday. I come back on Monday to store and find the item that I bought, then waited on the long lane about 15 minutes, but the sale person does not allow me to pick the item, because an online order has to wait for an email back from Joann for ready pick up. Until Wednesday, I do not get an email from them, then I called back the store asking for an email to pick up the item, and get information without apologizing and said Joann has a lot of backorders now. I am very disappointed with this and finally, I decide to cancel buying the item. I hope Joann will do better in the near future.

If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would. Items online state that they are in stock. When receiving shipping email it stated that it was partially shipped. So they put a hold in your bank for the full balance I paid for all the items (that toke 2 weeks to drop) and at the time of shipping they charge you again for whatever items they sent. Why not give you the option to cancel if they dont have all the items in stock. 2nd time this happens.. Never shopping from this store again.

Online order TEN days ago

Placed an online order TEN days ago. I knew from calling that they were behind but this is ridiculous. All I wanted was yardage for the back of a quilt. Order placed 4/5/20 and all it says is pending. Never again

Do Not Buy For Joann's Online

If I could give lower than a 1 star I would. Joann's online app is literally the devil! The first order I placed, the total it gave me was for $30.05 but they charged my card $53.15. I sent them an email to complain and surprise surprise I never recieved any kind of response. I just placed a new order again, against my better judgment. Yep they screwed me over once more!!! My bill was for $21.08 but they charged my bank account twice the other amount they charger was $19.47. I have sent another email but I wont be shocked if I dont hear from them yet again. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH JOANN'S ONLINE!!! They will F* you over!

Placed multiple orders on their website - all of which have been canceled. Still waiting on curbside pickup orders after 3-5 days. They say they are doing things for healthcare providers, yet I am a nurse making supplies for my hospital and can't even get supplies I need. People's donations are literally going to waste through canceled orders and Joann gift cards that I can't even use!

Online pickup order placed 3 days ago, order still not ready

Online order placed Sunday for pickup. I’d ordered for a product I need to make today. Not ‘ready’ yet. Call to store yesterday, told orders are behind and they were just filling Friday orders! Had I suspected they would not be as prompt as Michael’s I’d never ordered from there. They clearly aren’t up to par for business in this crisis. And...only 10 people allowed in that store at a time. Seems it’s overkill for that size store, can allow ample social distancing🙄. None of this is working. I’m put out.

I hope they go out of business after..

I hope they go out of business after all of this. I placed an order and it was cancelled the next day. So I did it again and it’s been almost two weeks with one lousy email saying my order is going to be delayed... oh okay until when? Ordered something for my friend off of Michaels and they shipped it the next day!! Don’t be doing online if you can’t keep up with it. I have received several packages from stores within the same week and you can’t even get an order from here. I know I won’t be coming here again.

Adding to what I wrote yesterday

Adding to what I wrote yesterday - I received an email today (day 5 after the date of order) telling me that my order was cancelled. No explanation, no offer of a coupon for the inconvenience. I am human and can make mistakes, too, and could understand if there was a problem, but there was nothing but a brief message stating that the order was cancelled. Obviously, seeing if items are in stock, which I did, was a waste of time because either the information on the website that indicated that items were in stock was outdated or they wanted to prevent the shopper from looking elsewhere, so they promised what they did not have. Going forward, I'll check out eBay or Etsy for notions.

Joann.com waste of time

I have had nothing but positive experiences while shopping IN STORE however JOANN.COM completely sucks, you can only get discount if you buy online pick up in store, if I wanted to go to the store I wouldn't be shopping online- also at least half the fabric is not available online not available at your store, and when I did get an order placed for delivery it was cancelled after not getting it for more than two weeks... I'm sticking with Hancock of Paducah 1000% better experiences
