“0” stars should be the rating for JoAnn Fabric and Crafts. I returned merchandise over a month ago and received a store credit “gift”card. When I went to use it a week later, it was invalid. A month later and multiple trips to the store, online and the corporate phone line, I still don’t have any credit and no one will be responsible and follow thru. No one should be treated like this. PS. Margate store

Wooden Tags

I ordered 20 wooden tags and more than half are warped and the sticker on the back of them is very hard to peel off. I will not buy these again. My order should have been here on a Thursday and did not arrive until Sunday.

I agree with everyone about Joann's…

I agree with everyone about Joann's online service. It stinks!! I go directly to the store and have great experiences finding what I need, as well as fantastic savings. The issue is... THE CHECK OUT LINE !! Takes forever. The employee are great but very, very slow!! I appreciate their dedication during this pandemic though. Just wish they could check people out faster. I don't want to be in long lines packed people during this pandemic.

They have a store full of items that do…

They have a store full of items that do not list the materials used on the packaging. When you ask an employee of the store if their chain and findings are nickel free nobody has that answer. None of them know about the products they are selling.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I made an order on the 18th for a poster bored I needed. Didn’t tell me an estimated date or how long it takes. This was my first time ordering so I’m like okay it’ll tell me after I put everything in and submit the order. Nope we’ll it’s now the 20th and still hasn’t moved from order received. I’ve called just for them to tell me they can’t cancel an order?? Tf what place can’t cancel orders??? Then she told me that it was gunna take 6-10 days for it to ship. 6-10 days? Really? I said okay well I want my money back the website is s*** and doesn’t tell us anything. I hope they close online orders down. Not to mention I had to pay $8.00 shipping!!!!! For f****** what???

No email confirmation, slow processing, no cancellations! Pathetic!

Joann's failed to email an order confirmation. After two days I called them to ask about the order. They could only tell me the obvious, "the order has been placed" and a 6 - 10 day shipping window. I asked to cancel the order and was told "we can't cancel orders." Whatever you may think of their stores, stay away from their online operation. It is pathetic.

customer service used to be…

What happen to this company used to be so good Now looks like they don’t care about customer service I have place an order twice and it keeps getting cancelled call several times to know the reason and no answer Finally CS answer my call but direct me to this number that is only one person and she won’t return calls they explain thus us a very small department all I need to know if the item is on back order/ they don’t carry this product

Last weekend I went to JoAnn's to buy a…

Last weekend I went to JoAnn's to buy a certain product. I had a coupon that said I would receive a specific amount off if I spent a particular amount. When I got to the counter I found I couldn't purchase said product using the coupon (I could get money off if I spent the right amount but the product I wanted to buy couldn't be applied to the coupon). I read that coupon multiple times BEFORE I went and no where was that information presented. I didn't buy it and came home to email Joann's. I also had a question from another business that I emailed as well. I have still not heard from JoAnn's except their automated answer but the other store not only contacted me THAT day (Saturday) but reached out to me personally. Perhaps the elites at JoAnn's could take a look around at other companies and find out what these businesses are doing right and HOW they're doing it. (and training their people to not just take peoples money but how to do some of the hobbies that they're trying to sell?).

JoAnn in Spring, TX, 77386, I-45 and Sawdust Rd: the worst customer service…agents are rude and stuck-up. Or the company needs to increase their pay, or staff it with customer friendly workers. In the future…Michael’s or Hobby Lobby.

I tried using my gift card online…

I tried using my gift card online multiple times and it said the card was applied but it was not at check out. I contacted customer service with no help. On top of this their prices are ridiculous snd they charge way too much for shipping which negates any coupon you will get. NO THANKS Hobby Lobby has all of my business.

I ordered the cricut machine I paid $236 total for order and went and picked up my order in store Joanns also took $218 and put it on hold and won't release it for 7 days I've never heard of such a thing and I will never ever order from them again!!!

Cynthia Pendley was very racist and rude to a customer front of her daughter while other clients where watching. Worst experience I ever have, Joann need to hire better professional staff. Save your money go else where. Don't support business who don't see you as a human person but see in you the color of your skin or your nationality. Sad but true, we are in 2021 and still have to see in our world this stuff to happen. Cynthia as for you young lady when you use your authority to feel power you just show the world how week you are as a human being. I'm sure you where not told better and it shows all over you your lack of humanity and how sad you are as person. I will tell you to go to school and learn how to respect and care about your clients not for what they look like or the color of their skin but for who we all are, human beings, but that's something you learn at home, I hope is not to late for you to understand life is to short and beautiful to have space for hate and racial discrimination in your heart. What you do to other good or bad it will come right back to you or your love ones, make sure next time you see in others a family member and you will always do the right thing. Be part of the solution not the problem.

Horrible on line order experience.

I purchased on line minky fabric 2 yards of 2 different ones. The order arrived and it was heavy outdoor burlap fabric. I took it into the store. The first two digits in the item where wrong and they clearly saw their mistake. They refunded the money for the fabric, but refused to refund shipping of $7.00. I sew lots but will never on line order with them again. Fabric.com is my order spot. 001782 01 810734

I’m never ordering from Joann online…

I’m never ordering from Joann online again. I wanted an item that showed “in stock” at my local store. Made a curbside pickup order only to have it cancelled and marked “out of stock”. Ok I’ll order it on their website. Said it shipped out the next day (4-8). It shipped via FedEx who then transferred to the USPS. My package hasn’t moved since 4-14. I called today (4-19) to get a refund. The guy was NOT helpful (funny their recording says they aren’t happy until the customer is happy) I’m VERY unhappy. Rep said I can’t get a refund until it’s been 6-10 business days. No package. Will have to wait longer and spend more time on the phone with them because their stupid “policy”. I just won’t order again from them.

Ledgewood store.

Ledgewood store. Went to the counter to have my lace cut and the manager said to me not to lean on the counter. I asked why? First of all there is a plastic barrier in front of you.I don’t know what her problem was! I didn’t hear telling the other customer not lean her elbow on the counter. The other customer next to me was leaning but was not told not to. I assumed that the manager is racist because I am Asian or simply ignorant! Such an idiot!

I’m right in this review regarding the Jo Ann’s located in Maplewood I believe the sales lady‘s name was Emma she was very helpful, kind and bubbly she also helped us find a coupon online which saved us Just about 50% off the price that we would’ve spent at Michael’s me and my husband really appreciate if her customer service I’m not sure if she was a manager or not but she definitely deserves a raise for great customer service which is super hard to find these days

THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!

THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!! I saw items on their website I wanted, and thought it was a great deal! Placed the order, no problem... until I received an email saying my order was canceled. WHAT?! So I emailed the email address listed for assistance, but wait, they can't help, I need to contact someone else. Okay. I emailed them, actually got a response quickly - very surprised. They say they don't ship "high dollar machines to a cargo company" (I'm outside of the US so use a cargo shipping company). Okay, no problem. I try again, say I'll ship to my aunt in NY and figure out the rest from there. The address I enter, they suggest some other address which I didn't choose because obviously it was incorrect. Anyways, they cancel that as well, at this point I'm so confused! Oh, when the order is canceled it says that it didn't pass the verification process. I say I'll try one more time (against my better judgment), figured maybe I got something incorrect in the address or something... they cancel the order AGAIN!!! Emailed for assistance as to why the last 2 orders were canceled- NO RESPONSE!! Very, very poor customer service. I will never recommend anyone to buy anything from here! Not even if it costs a dollar! They're absolutely ridiculous!
