Online order delivery-still waiting

This is primarily about online orders. When an order is put in 2-3 weeks before you need an item, there should not be a worry about receiving it in time. I should have learned my lesson from last year-Joanns cancelled all my orders for lack of inventory. This year the items are available, but very delayed in getting to their destination (this is before any weather delays). The issue is with the inventory control, systems processing and then shipping. Unbelievable in this day and age when other companies can use the proper technology and deliver. It is either tech or bad management, but I will not be doing business with them anymore.

Order was charged twice and was told…

Order was charged twice and was told one charge is an authorization hold. This seems to be the MO for Joann online orders. I am now 50 less in my account the week before xmas and now have to wait to get that money refunded even though the original order is posted and paid for. I do not understand how they can continue to do this and it doesn't surprise me that after googling this issue I see Joann essentially has 1 star ratings everywhere. If I could rate in the negative I would. I wish there was something that could be done about this but they obviously don't car about their customers or the fact that many people are already struggling financially and being charged twice is just absurd and puts people in a bad place. I hate this!

This WAS my go to craft store

This WAS my go to craft store, so I'm surprised and very disappointed in the way my online order was handled. They left me thinking everything was fine until just now (12-17-22) when I ordered on 12-6-22. I am exasperated! These product shortages should have been reported to me upon ordering. Now I'm left in the lurch for 8 people for Christmas. So not cool.

Very unsatisfied

I ordered an ott light twice and they say I only ordered one. I explained that I was not great at ordering things. I asked if I could get another one at the same price and all she talked about was that I only ordered one. She was not answering my question. I will never shop at JoAnn's again!! I will also pass on the word of not shopping there.

UK customers avoid.

Placed an order for express delivery (£25) to UK, confirmation email said it would take 20 days to arrive - which defeats the purpose of express delivery. Tried to cancel before it was shipped but was told they couldn’t and I would have to return it for a refund. In other words, to get a refund (excluding shipping) it has to ship to the UK, and then I have to return it to the US. Absolutely ridiculous.

Rude

Rude, rude rude customer service. Credit card machines not working, everyone being declined. Surely difficult for staff but they were snappish and blaming and not an apology in sight. Better training for staff when dealing with problems would be useful.

Joann.com Online Customer Service IS THE WORST!

If I could rate 0 Stars I would! The ONLINE CUSTOMER SERVICE is THE WORST! I've been ordering through Joann.com for months now and all of a sudden... on my nth order... the system is "unable to verify my address"!!! Ummmm.... What?... but you've successfully delivered to me before.... with the same address. All of a sudden.... you can't find my address ??? to which you've delivered numerous times in the past few months. So.... I submitted a "help" request via their online site... received a response from a "Virtual Agent" that they are unable to "Cancel my order"?! First of all... I couldn't even place an order!! ... much less cancel it! Joann.com website is the most Useless and worst ONLINE website there is. Customer service in their stores are just fine... love the people that work in the one I go to! It's the website's customer service that needs to be re-vamped or just needs to be shut down when they're unable to address customer issues and stop following a "scripted" reply. They sound like robots!

Joann Fabrics Customer Service Online Stinks

Joann Fabrics online stinks. There is no way to contact a person and when you contact them via email or text you may or may not get a response. Customer Service is non existent. My order was duplicated, I went on the website to contact them and via THEIR suggestion I text them. Asking of course to cancel the duplicate order (prior to shipping) as they have no way to cancel the order once you hit send or within 10 minutes of placing the order. No response, so I went back on the website and hit "chat" which took me to a form to fill out. There is no "chat". I filled it out and received an email stating that once the order is submitted it can't be cancelled but feel free to return the item. What about my shipping charges? So basically I paid for shipping on an item that I didn't want. Joanne's what a scam you have going!

Joann’s online return policy states one…

Joann’s online return policy states one thing but just try to make a return to a local store. One headache after another! First after being told 2or 3 times to look at the sign and told to read it the clerk then charged me for items instead of crediting as a return. She called over someone to assist and blamed her error on me. It took every ounce of patience not to be a “Karen.”

Worst Customer Service EVER

Purchased fleece online for local store pickup two weeks ago. Had to return it today (11/23/22) due to customer canceling order. Paid with debit card, like I have done for the last 20 years. Was told I could not get a credit back to my card as that was on the receipt. It's not on the receipt emailed to me. I said I had paid with debit card for many years and sometimes had to return things and it always went back on my card. Asst manager was a young woman who was walking the manager (a young man) through the return and she said Joann has NEVER allowed returns to debit cards and it's on the receipt. Regular mgr let her interrupt me repeatedly, contradict me repeatedly about this. They said I could only get a store credit, nothing else. I refused and said I wanted a credit of what I paid, not being forced to spend at Joann and no where else. Then she said I could have a corporate check sent since they will not and never have given debit card refunds. I said again, that is not true, but she interrupted again and said it was. So I said I don't like being called a liar, and I've been a customer since longer than she's even been alive. The nose ring and ugly jewelry and heavy black makeup she was wearing made her look like a satanic worshipping hoodlum, not a professional store manager. The overall mgr never said a word as he seemed totally intimidated by this awful young lady. But then when I refused again to take a store credit or gift card which force me to only buy at Joann with my refund, I was finally told I could have cash back. So they lied to me repeatedly. The worst customer service I have ever received ANYWHERE EVER, and it's always bad in this store but it was never THIS BAD until today. Horrible people, horrible management, horrible service by liars and shysters. JoAnn Stores ought to be horribly ashamed at this bad behavior in the Oracle/Wetmore Rd Joann in Tucson AZ. Will never set foot in that store again. They owe me an apology for their lies and disgusting service and behavior.

TERRIBLE SERVICE

Ordered six days ago and it still shows as "processing." Sent email, no reply. Left message, no reply. Going to complain to PayPal. Terrible experience. It's no wonder they're losing all of their business to Hobby Lobby and Michael's. Will NEVER order again, nor will I shop in store.

Their choices of fabric is jaw-dropping! The certain colors, the different patterns and textures, you can find just about everything you are looking for! The jewelry there is great quality and their yarn sales are amazing!!

Be cautious when ordering online

Be cautious when ordering online. The site will pre-authorize your card for the full amount of the order and if the order is shipped in seperate shipments, your bank will get more authorization requests for the dollar amount of the items per shipment. Per their customer service department, they are aware but don’t find it a concern that the extra funds are frozen for use because the authorization holds will eventually “fall off” and you will then have access to the extra funds they requested .

Unfriendly staff

The first time I went there which was a week prior to November 7th I made a phone call to see if they had the product the answer was yes I got to the store asked the gentleman cutting material about the item he was completely useless pointed to an aisle and said it might be there wouldn't even walk around from the counter to help me. November 7th when I returned the products that I bought the woman at the return desk barely uttered a word look like she hated her job I tried to make small talk she wouldn't speak just unfriendliness I will not ever go back to that store I will go out of my way to Deer Creek Plaza where people are more friendly this is the store on South Lindbergh in South County most unfriendly people I've ever encountered will not ever go back

4/5 great products, meh prices

I've been in person, and on-line with items shipped and some picked up curbside. I have no complaints about the services or the products. The prices are a bit high so I only buy things once they are on clearance. The best time is right after a holiday. Be aware when buying clearance holiday items online the item might not be available. That wasn't a big deal, for me, because they didn't charge me for those items.

The rewards program

The rewards program is horrible. I beleive when you earn something it should first be available within 24 to 48 hours and second you should be able to use longer than a week. After all it is suppose to be a "reward". When you go into the store you have to search and search for what you want. There are no clear signs of where things are.

I’m very disappointed with the Pellon…

I’m very disappointed with the Pellon 820 Fusible Quilter's Grid Board 45"×10 yds would do great to iron on clothing for blankets. I ironed it using the hottest setting onto the clothes with this product and every single piece of it has been peeling away. It comes off easily. I’m not happy with this product.
