Intensive Courses Driving School

I did an intensive course with Steve. From my first lesson, he instilled the instrumental confidence needed to develop my own judgment on the road. He was calm, concise and kept all instruction simple and easy to remember. Steve was on time, if not early for every single lesson. Without pushing me past my capabilities, he continued every lesson to build my skills as a driver. The whole process of learning with ‘intensive courses’ was seamless and I would recommend happily to anyone! Thank you Steve :)

Very comprehensive service and friendly, helpful staff. I took an 18 hour course to convert from a US license (and after having lived here for 23 years, I was very rusty!) and passed first time. They were also really accommodating around me being pregnant and rebooked my test for me. Thank you!

Fantastic company. Great quality of service and product. Great clarity in communication. Fantastic instructors. At a time where many companies are taking advantage of desperate students and long waiting times, I always felt the opposite with intensive courses and they prioritised doing the right thing. You do pay extra, but you get what you pay for and they got the extra mile. Highly recommend and definitely place them a cut above the rest of the many Ive experienced.

Today, I successfully cleared my category B driving test in the UK! Though I already possessed a driving license from another country, the British driving test was a requirement for me to drive here. With the intention of undergoing 10 hours of preparation lessons, I reached out to Intensive Courses Driving School a fortnight ago, right after clearing my theory test. The School was exceptionally prompt in pairing me with a driving instructor and scheduling my test. I benefited from a last-minute cancellation, without which I would have faced a lengthy waiting period! My instructor, Paresh Patel, was nothing short of remarkable. Despite my prior driving experience, he taught me numerous subtleties and important aspects that I hadn't considered before. His guidance was not only instrumental in helping me pass the test but also in ensuring that I drive safely in the future. His attention to the little details and his commitment to thorough teaching made this a valuable learning experience for me!

George was my driving instructor, extremely calm and knowledgeable without losing his sense of humour. Booked an intensive course of 10hrs but ending up booking 6 more to be extra sure and passed within 2weeks. Would recommend a million times over.

I had Jay as my instructor and i couldn't fault him what so ever, very calm and friendly. A perfect driving instructor for first time drivers and also experienced ones. Working with intensive courses was a joy from start to finish. Everything went smoothly with the admin side of things and it's clear that they only work with the best driving instructors available. Glenn is everything you could possibly want from a driving instructor. Calm, collected, instructive and funny! He's a master driver but hasn't forgotten what it's like to be a complete beginner. He takes nothing for granted and explains everything methodically to make sure that you understand fully. Glenn gives you the opportunity to drive independently but is always on hand to assist should things get a bit hairy. He never interjects unnecessarily and looks for learning opportunities at every chance. After my first few lessons with Glenn, I was confident that I would pass my test the first time. Simply put, he is an expert at what he does and will get you the result that you're after if you listen to his advice and learn. Thanks to Glenn and Intensive Courses, it was a pleasure working with you!

Steve in Chelmsford is the absolute best instructor you could ask for. Calm, collected, and determined to get you safely passed. Couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. Having failed three times previously, I came to Steve with very little confidence. Within 18 hours of lessons, I’d passed my test and was on the road solo and no longer scared!

Very quick and easy link up with my instructor Kester who was patient, kind and absolutely brilliant all round. Thanks to his expert instruction I passed first time!

When booking my intensive course I did book to learn in an automatic car but on the day my lessons started the instructor had a manual car. I had the option to reschedule my lessons and test so they could find me an automatic instructor. But I was desperate for my license and didn’t want to wait for a new test date. I had only booked a 30 hour course as I thought this was all I’d need if learning in an automatic but as I was now learning in a manual car and I was worried I’d need more lessons. Luckily I was given an amazing instructor called Yousouff who was very patient and an all round great teacher! I didn’t need any additional lessons and I passed my test first time with only 2 minors. Noel from the office was also great and helped with any concerns I had. 10/10 for his customer service! I will be recommending intensive courses to anyone I know looking to pass their test. Thanks again for a great service!

Passed my automatic driving test first time!!! And all thanks to Noel from Intensive Courses Driving School and to Steve in particular who was my driving instructor in Chelmsford. Being a female, 34 y old, with some driving experience in the past (was trying to learn manual), my experience was great, with all admin information supplied timely and in a very descriptive manner. The actual driving lessons were well planned prior to my test, with all key maneuvers and elements practiced numerous times. Whilst I was a very nervous driver previously, thanks to Steve's teaching style I've managed to overcome my negative feelings and felt very comfortable and at ease behind the wheel. His car is also great (Peugeot), great responsive model for learners! I've tried learning driving previously but had no success. With Steve I've managed to finally conquer my fears and passed the first time! Many thanks and highly recommend to everyone.
