Intensive Courses Driving School

I have a driving license from a different country for almost 20 years, and I had to get a new one in the UK. The crash courses they offer were exactly the right thing for me. It took them a few weeks to find a test slot in Tottenham, and it was scheduled 5 month after the initial course purchase. There are other services that do that more efficiently, but it wasn't a deal breaker for me. You pay upfront for the test and the scheduling fee. Then, roughly two months before the test, they match you with an instructor who books all the lessons in advance. That worked beautifully! I could arrange that around work and there were no last minute changes. The instructor, Yousouff, was really kind, pleasant, communicative and helpful in understanding the main points for the test and how to adjust my style to the UK. I passed the test (1st attempt) with a single minor.

Intensive Courses were easy to deal with and responded to everything quickly and as needed. But what I want to give a true 5 star to is my wonderful instructor Shamsuddin Ahmed. Shams is calm, kind, respectful and great at communicating. He really listens and works with what you need, as well as being incredibly helpful and good at teaching. I passed on my first attempt! Cannot recommend him enough.

Managed to get 24 hours under my belt after a little driving experience in the past and passed the test with no faults! Steve was an excellent instructor, prepared me so well & made the whole learning experience something to look forward to. Great experience all round can't recommend enough!

I have previous driving lesson experience and was paired with Carlos for a 14hr crash course. He made the experience enjoyable and even taught me simpler ways of doing certain driving manoeuvres, and helped me feel more confident behind the wheel. Thanks to Carlos, I was able to pass first time with only a few minors!!!

I managed to get a cancellation test and it was in 2 weeks. I called up and spoke to Noel and he told me it’s possible to get me in, I booked 15 hours and my instructor Mussafar was amazing we did intense 3 hour lessons for 5 days and I passed my driving test at Hendon test centre! Thank you guys

Highly Recommend Kester! I had a lovely couple of months learning how to drive with Kester and passed on my first go with 34 hours of lessons. He made me feel super comfortable as a completely unexperienced driver and was always positive and fun to hang out with. He was incredibly accommodating to my needs (i.e. getting dropped off in a different location or moving classes because of work conflicts). I was definitely very well-prepared for my practical test (using the sat nav, following directions, show me/tell me questions, parking and feeling confident). Thank you so much Kester, all the best!

In 2017 the instructor Dinesh said that I couldn't drive, "driving isn't for everyone" and even recommended that I take anxiety medication before attending his lessons. They took a lot of money from me only to advise that I wasn't ready to take the test. A couple of month later, I passed with a different driving instructor and have driven to different country multiple times int he last few years. Be careful of what you say and how you treat people. Avoid at all cost

Am super happy with the experience of using this company. Was paired with Jay who was my brilliant driving instructor and helped me pass my driving test. They helped find a test date in my local area as well as recommend the amount of hours I would need as I had previous driving experience. Being intensive worked well for me as I could take off some time from work and try focus on getting my license.

Took a very long time to get a test, but they kept good communication and told me to contact regularly to see if they could find a earlier test for me. Put me.in touch with Jim, Jim was great instructor I already been driving for many years but Jim helped me to understand what to do for the test safely with good instruction. Good service from both

As an experienced driver with a US license for over 30yrs, I was doubtful that I needed a 10hour course. I was so wrong! They assigned me an amazing instructor, Roy. He was friendly, kind, informative and an overall joy to be with driving around in NW. I initially reached out to them in 2021. For various reasons I wasn't able to partake in lessons and take my test until recently. Regardless, ICDS stuck with me and were helpful along the way. Forever grateful!

The instructor was great and knew the examination routes well. He kept a clean car and was patient when needed

My first initial call to intensive courses driving school was very helpful, I spoke to Noel who is very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. He managed to get me booked in for a course and test date very fast. I had an issue and I did not want to take a manual course after my first lesson, so I contacted Noel and he was very understanding and accommodating. Noel swapped me from manual to automatic and found me a test date within 6 months, I was allocated Phil Hyman as my instructor and I could not of asked for a better instructor. I was very nervous and lacked in confidence with driving but with Phil's many years of experience he worked out how to teach me the right way that worked for both of us. Phil is very friendly, his passion to help people achieve this goal is amazing, I could not fault Phil at all, he was always early on arrival, always stayed professional, if there was any tricky parts to driving, Phil would keep going through it until it was perfected. Phil also has very good calming techniques which helped massively. All in all Phil would be the ideal instructor for EVERYONE that wants to learn in an automatic. Thanks to Phil I passed my test with just 1 minor. My entire experience with intensive courses driving school from day 1 till today has been easy, relaxed and a breath of fresh air. I would recommend this company to EVERYONE. 10/10

Helped me pass my driving test and fit in with working hours well. The intensive course is definitely worth it if you know what you’re getting into. My instructor George is very knowledgeable and experienced, can’t pass without his help.

Came into my course a complete beginner with zero driving experience, opted for the 38 hour course. And thanks to instructor Elaine I manged to pass first time with only 3 minors. highly recommend

I recently completed my driving course with Intensive Courses Driving School, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! My instructor (Paresh Patel) was not only highly skilled and experienced but also patient, friendly, and extremely encouraging. Even as a nervous beginner that has never been behind the wheel, my instructor has succeeded in creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment. My instructor had more confidence in my ability to pass the exam than I had in myself, which really helped me get my mind back on track and trust that I can do it. Overall, we had a great time, which not only made learning enjoyable but also helped alleviate the pressure and nervousness.

My experience learning how to drive with Makarios was exceptional! I was so shakey, nervous and had absolutely no confidence but thankfully I had Makarios who pushed me to be and do my best even on my "bad days" he always encouraged me and helped me to fix my problems from parallel parking to CHECKING ALL THE MIRRORS + BLIND SPOT. I am so grateful, Makarios is a huge asset to the company and I would highly highly highly recommend him.

My experience with Intensive courses was exceptional! Very well organised and all credits go to my instructor Shams. He was gentle and helped me with correcting all minor mistakes. This helped me to pass the test in one of the toughest routes Wanstead without and minor mistakes in the exam!
