Intensive Courses Driving School

So pleased I found this driving school - they are sole the reason that I am driving today. The process for booking lessons and obtaining information was efficient and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. The driving instructor was patient, very experienced and able to use different techniques to meet needs.

I have just called the Intensive Courses Driving School to enquire about a course. Speaking with Noel it was quickly established that the company could not help as they do not currently operate in my area of the UK. However, Noel then spent a considerable amount of time talking to me about options and explaining about finding a good driving instructor and the driving test booking process. In my experience the true indication of a customer focused company is when they go the extra mile even when they know they will not be making any money from you. As an experienced driving instructor of 20 years, I've been working with quite a few driving schools and never been happy. I've worked alongside intensivecourses.co.uk for nearly 6 years and couldn't be happier. I've had the support from Noel and Gaynor the whole time. They are a great team to work with. Been given plenty of new students over the years that have been a pleasure to teach. I cant recommend intensivecourses.co.uk enough, whether you are an instructor wanting the exciting challenge of teaching intensively or a student looking to get on the road. I paid for 18 hour course, as there was not a driving in my area to start straight away I travelled to Leeds from Birmingham and paid for accommodation. I had a 2 hour lesson and arranged to complete remaining hours. Paid in full. 2 hours after my lesson I was told that my driver has a family emergency and would not be able to continue my lessons!!! The office said the driver felt uncomfortable and said they couldn’t continue!! I not only wasted my time, I paid for accomodation! Very unhelpful, unprofessional and rude staff! AVOID!

I had a great experience with the Intensive Course Driving School from start to finish (36 hours over 5 weeks) - special thanks to Noel and my instructor Rajesh. I'm a very happy customer and passed first time!!!

Booked a 14 hour intensive course that included the test - and passed! What more could you ask for. My instructor Elaine was a brilliant teacher, she made me feel relaxed which is what I needed after having some bad experiences with instructors who were constantly barking in my ear and making me feel more stressed then I needed to be. If your looking for someone who knows there onions backwards then Elaine is the instructor for you. Great service - would recommend to a friend!

Sandy was a fantastic teacher. He's calm, clear, very experienced and friendly. I really enjoyed learning to drive with him which definitely helped when spending 30 hours in the car with him. He has some brilliant tips and ways to remember driving techniques and thanks to his help, I passed first time.

After giving up learning to drive when I was younger due to a bad experience with an instructor, to say I was nervous to learn again at 31 was an understatement! But I couldn't have been in better hands. Noel, the friendly owner of Intensive Courses, talked me through the process and recommended me the instructor I would later be partnered with - Glenn. What a lovely guy, and a great teacher! Glenn was incredibly patient with me, was clear and precise in his instruction and was particularly reassuring to me during my (many) moments of self-doubt. He believed in me, and helped me to overcome my nerves. I passed first time, with only four minors! All thanks to Glenn. I would absolutely recommend Intensive Courses, and Glenn particularly. Brilliant. Easy to use website and the communication was great, very friendly, helpful and efficient both on phone and email. I booked and got all my lesson and test dates confirmed within a day and they all suited me. Instructor Roy was AMAZING and made learning a pleasure, even though I did 3 hours a day over 4 days which was intense, being in the car with him was a breeze. Would definitely recommend.

I had an extremely good experience with Intensive Courses. I had previously struggled with driving, and had number of instructors in the past but never confidently got the hang of driving. I decided to sign up with Intensive Courses to nip it in the bud. I was allocated the instructor Elaine Leggett, who taught me thoroughly and calmly, and driving soon started feeling like second nature. So delighted to have passed!

I am 60 years old and had never driven before. I knew all the statistics and stories about older drivers, their slow reactions and the low pass rate, so I was prepared for an uphill struggle. Not only did I pass first time, but I did it in 4 weeks! I chose a 45 hour course with Intensive Courses and was allocated an instructor, Youssouff Mahamedally, the same day. A week later I was on the road. Youssouff was the perfect teacher for me, endlessly patient (even when I made some really horrendous mistakes) and obviously experienced in dealing with nervous but determined pupils. Because the lessons were 3 hours long I really had the opportunity to practise intensively and make sure that all the skills I was learning stayed fresh. Thank you Youssouff - I definitely couldn't have passed without you and Intensive Courses.

I can only give 100% positive feedback for my experience with Intensive Courses. My instructor was Jegan, who not only was an excellent instructor, but also made my driving lessons thoroughly enjoyable. I was under an extremely tight time restriction to pass my test, but this was no issue and within 8 days of taking my first driving lesson (14 hours spread over 3 days), I had passed my practical and theory test. I felt completely comfortable when taking the exam, and passed with 0 faults (all credit to excellent tutoring). I would 100% recommend, whether you are in a hurry to get your license or not. Great customer service and equally as good results.

I made it a New Year’s resolution to learn to drive and pass my test. Intensive Courses seemed to offer the best prices I could find online, and Noel (who I found very helpful and encouraging) managed within a few days, at the start of January, to find me a teacher to start a 15hr course (across 5 days), and a test at the end. I was taught by Paresh Patel, who I found very reliable, helpful, good-natured, and encouraging. Barking seemed a good area to learn, and take the test. A very silly mistake when moving off (using the gas!?) meant I didn’t pass my first test, but Intensive Courses found me another test within 3 weeks, and a refresher lesson. Pleased to say I then passed. Thanks again to Intensive Courses- I had had a few lessons a few years before, but I passed exactly a month after my first lesson.

Passed my test after just under 2 weeks of lessons with Intensive Courses. They were great! Musaffar was a huge help and an amazing instructor! Highly recommend!

I would 100% recommend intensive courses. After starting my driving lessons 5 years ago and giving up due to lack of confidence I tried another instructor but really struggled to get along with them and in turn failed my first test. I decided to try intensive courses as the once a week driving lessons just really didn’t seem to suit me. Everyone was so helpful during the booking phase and even when my test was cancelled due to my examiner not being available they then found another test suited to me which worked around work. I had Kev as my instructor and he was so calm and collected and really gave me so much confidence even moments before the test giving me a pep talk in the car beforehand. I would 1000% recommend him and instensive driving courses!

I had a fantastic experience with Intensive Courses from start to end. Noel was very pleasant and helpful when booking my 1.5 week driving course (which was booked last minute)! My driving instructor was also excellent. He was great at teaching all aspects of driving and had the patience to go through any areas I found tricky/difficult. I would highly recommend Intensive Courses as well as Shams as an instructor. Thank you Noel and Shams for providing this opportunity. I never thought I'd be able to pass my driving test first time round but managed it with your help so thanks again! :)

Wasn't the best experience, also was very expensive spent over £1000 pounds My driving instructor cancelled on me, although I did get refund for unused lessons. Didn't feel after completing over 20 hours of driving a confident driver. Rubbish experience overall.
