Policy No CPTH027528 My renewal quote arrIved in a timely manor, Natalie was very helpful in sorting the queries and updating the quote. Slight concern:- I recieved a more advantages quote from you via Go-Compare?? (I was unable to give accurate information on their website re the fact we have 3 owners etc) TIME IS MONEY to your orginisation and to me, you are aware of my age and I confess to being useless on this contraption, Natalie and I spent 45 minuits on the computer yesterday answering questions which would have been answered in less than ten minuits on the phone but there is no option for this. This is a personal service offered in a very impersonal way. Useful to find a company specialising in insurance for older properties. Online form easy to complete. Agent helpful and completed the transaction promptly.

They quoted me £289.15 to renew my policy. I decided to do a comparison search on Compare The Market. The same company and the exact same cover showed in the search results with a quote of £235.40. I called them to tell them this. The man I spoke to asked me to wait while he left to speak to someone. When he came back, he told me that I could renew for the lower price. If I hadn't done the comparison search, they would have let me pay the higher price. Not good.

Email with details sent of quote, but then a very nice person rang me. Went through the brief details I needed to be made aware of, and gave me a quote less than in the Email. The only insurance I could find that Actually did offer Legal Expenses Cover for an Unoccupied property.

I have purchased my insurance on Friday, 8th Aug and realise after purchasing the insurance that they have clauses that make insurance useless (e.g. do not cover flood). I then go with Aviva which makes more sense on their coverage and try to cancel it on the same day. However, their customer service closed on Friday evening (you can buy online but cant cancel online) and closed over the weekend. So I eventually managed to reach out on Monday, and they charged me arrangement fee of £50, which according to them its in T&C. I cant believe such arrangement can be allowed in UK, as the insurance has not even been started (its due to start on 30 Aug) and I cancel it practically on the next working day. Their prices are not great (their cheapest cant even beat aviva which is expensive), terms awful (showing their intention to take profit as much as possible, i wonder how challenging it would be when i need to make a claim). They forget that insurance is a trust business. I will never ever purchase from them anymore.

Bought insurance through this company. When the policy documents came through it became clear that they wanted an inspection of the flat roof area of my garage. A request I've never had before. So I contacted them immediately to cancel. Company offered be a version without this endorsement for double the price! I requested a refund as I was in my cooling off period and they refused to refund the full amount. Kept an "admin fee". I found alternative insurance for much the same price as the original quote. I feel this refusal to refund is unfair, and likely part of their business model. Suggest avoiding at all costs!!

(Your website Trustpilot link doesn't work!) Other than the info about french doors being changed every time I went back through my application for a quote to check it, the experience was a good one. Recommended. Quick and easy but do go back and re-check absolutely everything you put down because of this automatic changing of some of the info. (Says this is an, 'unprompted review', but the provider's website has a link to Trustpilot and asks you to review them!)
