The agent was very helpful, honest and informative. Unfortunately I was unable to get my problem resolved, through no fault of the agent. I lost wi fi connection whilst trying to resolve why I was not receiving roaming data whilst in Iceland
Recently, my partner and I, both with iD have been unable to make or receive either calls or texts. People have tried to contact us and cannot get through. I can't call out. I've contacted customer service and they tell me I'm lying, but other customers are reporting the same issues. There's just no network. I'm paying for the ability to miss important phone calls. I'll be leaving iD as soon as I have time to organise a new contract.
When I first joined I.D Mobile over 8 years ago I found it to be very affordable, but recently it has gone down hill, the signal is terrible, frequent outages the phone I have on contract with them has now developed a pink line down one side of the screen so I tried to get another contract for a new phone and got turned down,I have 5 more months left on my existing contract stuck with a defective phone. Just had so much trouble with this network The upfront costs are now so high I've decided I won't be upgrading and will be changing my network provider... I do not recommend this mobile phone network.

Great deals, lousy customer service. I was offered an upgrade, having been with iD for the last 4 years. Decided to opt for a Pixel. Phone received in super quick time, but then found that in the upgrade my existing iD mobile number had not been applied to the phone, despite being told that with my upgrade my existing number would transfer. It's now been a year of endless online 'chats' with representatives who don't seem to understand the issue and address obviously working from a script. I've emailed and written but to no avail. I'd ike to cancel but know that this would screw my credit rating. I'm exhausted trying to get them to realise that they never actually 'upgraded' me, just sold me a new handset. Very, very frustrating. I'm now using my old iD number on its original iD SIM cards on a new phone, on my old data plan. What's the point? And now I see they are offering the Pixel Pro for less than I'm spending on the present defective contract and pay as you got SIM.

I was a customer with iD Mobile for over two years. My 24-month contract ended in November 2024, but I only realised in July 2025 that they had continued charging me Β£34.42/month β the same amount I paid while βrepayingβ the handset, which I had already owned outright by then. I was told that I hadn't been overcharged because the handset was βtechnically freeβ and the contract was for βairtime only.β This is a complete dodge. Whether they itemise the phone or not, the price clearly includes the cost of the handset When I contacted them, I discovered Iβd only been using around 6GB of data per month, yet I was being billed for 50GB. I was told it was my responsibility to notice the contract had ended and my fault if their one email went to my junk folder. Even after I calmly explained the situation and cited Ofcom guidance (which states providers should not continue charging handset-inclusive rates after the contract ends), they refused a refund β even though I had been overpaying for 9 months. The complaints team was dismissive and cold. Eventually, I had to escalate my case to the Ombudsman. If you value transparency and fair treatment, I would avoid iD Mobile. They seem happy to let customers overpay quietly and then hide behind terms and conditions when challenged. Disappointing and frustrating.

Everything works well. I have had no issues since swapping to iD Mobile. I am saving on the amount that I pay monthly.

Everything is good EXCEPT the way a customer challenge to contact ID and actually speak to a real person.
