Bought some festoon lights for outside, they were installed correctly, however they only lasted 3 weeks.

Clean and tidy store

I visited the ashington branch. The store was airy and clean . After I selected my goods off I went to the checkout. There were a couple of ladies in front of me and they were greeted with a hello by the checkout lady called jenna. .she was friendly and polite to them and even said thank you. Then it came to my turn what a jekyll and Hyde. I got no greeting I was giving no eye contact I got no please or thank you she was only interested in getting another member of staff on the tills so was talking to her colleague while zapping my products? 2 star service and that's being generous

Home Bargains in Albany Road, Cardiff

I visit Home Bargains earlier this afternoon in Albany Road Cardiff, 1 of your staff name Luke ( he maybe a supervisor ) wearing red shirt walked in front of me when me and my son was looking at the shelf to see what drinks to buy, what he could have done is walked behind us and he did not even say 'sorry' or 'excuse me' for doing that, I found that is kind of 'rude' attitude towards customers. You know I work in retail myself so that kind of behaviour is not acceptable.

I have been buying JCB batteries from…

I have been buying JCB batteries from HB for many years with no problem. They have changed their 9 volt ones from JCB to Pifco Ultimate. I have just had to change one after no time at all while the JCB ones are still working. I will not be buying 9 volt batteries from HB.

I told them I hadn’t received my order…

I told them I hadn’t received my order and they asked me to fill out a form, my internet went so I couldn’t fill it out and when I got it back they said it was too late I explained to them that my internet had gone and they wasn’t interested and now they’re ignoring me just because I had no internet, £100 they’ve stolen from me

Don’t buy the moisturiser!!!

Great products and all but gave my daughter one of the moistures as she was waiting for her birthday when she got actual stuff. But after about a month of using it she got a massive allergic reaction across her face and had to be sent to hospital. A £5 moisturiser turned into a £500 hospital trip!

Home bargain gift cards waste of time

I was recently given a home bargains gift card. Everything time I tried to use the card at a store it was not recognised and was continually rejected. I was told to contact customer care and after several email they simply replied here’s a credit number you can use only once at a store and that was it. So if anyone wants to get you a home bargains gift card advise them not to.

Refused a refund for a faulty product.

What terrible customer service, firstly from the store manager who did not have the authority to refund a faulty product but also the head office of whom replied within 4 hours with a decision of there is nothing we can do! The issue I had was with a bag of 'Bebeto Gummy Mix' sweets that I have bought many times before but these ones tasted rancid, that opinion was also shared by other family members and friends. This is my thoughts on the matter... How can you trust the produce sold in their stores when they had no interest in whether the product was compromised, they were not in the slightest bit interested in batch numbers which would have been needed in contacting the manufacturer had they feel a need to, of which they did not, they decided it easier to just refuse a refund saying there was nothing they could do, which translate to tough luck as there is nothing you can do. I was a regular shopper there but from now on I will shop elsewhere as all other shops I use do not have such Dickensian rules on customer service and have no quibble satisfaction guarantees.

Wier Road SW19

Went to Wier Road yesterday for the first time and was impressed, lovely plants and big selection of goods at much cheaper prices. No self service tills unfortunately but didn't have to wait long at the manned tills. Would definitely visit again.

Purchased grass seeds online, seeds doing nothing , sent proof I purchased off them to be told by Veronica basically she's not going to sort this out and send replacement seeds , disgusting
