I am afraid that I have not been at my Sussex address very much since the installation of my new satellite. The few times that I have used my e-mail it has been excellent inspite of my elderly and therefore slow computer. Lovely to arrive in Sussex and find I can view my e-mails - and send. So thank you a great success!
Great Service. We live in rural Herefordshire where the internet service from BT and other service providers is poor and almost hopeless ! Freedomsat allows me and my wife to enjoy fast broadband service 95% of the time . The ICT service is not so good - but still OK - in some weather conditions but that is to be expected using satellite services. Points out of 10? 39+++

I live in a fairly remote location in the Scottish Borders and and can’t get broadband through the usual ADSL or fibre connections, so have a satellite broadband contract with Freedomsat. I have been a customer for about three years and really can’t fault the service. Although I don’t have a super fast connection, it is good enough to have allowed me to work from home for over two years without difficulty and provides a consistently good connection and reasonable speed. I have only had to contact the technical department once, when my work laptop was upgraded but wouldn’t connect to the broadband; my call was answered swiftly, the technical adviser sorted out my problem within minutes, and even offered to talk directly to my work IT department if there were any further problems. Really excellent service! One final point: I do like the online customer portal and free text service that is easy to use and allows me to keep track of my data usage.
We have been with Bentley Walker Freedomsat's Avanti satellite broadband service for over 5 years and in that time have received excellent service. Living in the far north of Scotland we have virtually non-existent cable broadband, no prospect of fibre broadband and a poor 4G signal, so their satellite broadband service is a real life line for us. Good customer service and support. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bentley Walker Freedomsat.
The best thing to have happened was that Bentley and Walker were recommended to me for better wifi. I am so pleased with everything they have done and have recommended them to neighbours, 3 who have already joined up with them. The engineers are pleasant, extremely helpful and importantly always available by e-mail or ‘phone.
Customer service has always been very good. The satellite signal can go down depending on weather conditions but this does not happen very often and not generally for long periods.
I have enjoyed a trouble free Freedomsat internet connection at home from Bentley Walker for quite a long time so when we needed to stay for 3 months at my father-in-law's house following is passing, (he never had internet at home), to wind up his estate etc, it was a very simple decision to contact Bentley Walker and set up a short contract for a 4G connection. The equipment arrived on time, worked perfectly, and cost a fraction of the amount BT wanted for a landline connection, (minimum 2 year contract). As I purchased the box outright I am now free to reuse it again along with a new contract in a different property. All in all a very satisfied customer just as I am with our own home connection, and would have no problem in recommending Bentley Walker to anyone looking for a reliable internet connection backed up with prompt and professional aftersales service, at a reasonable price, be it with 4G or satellite.

disappointed that the satellite broadband slows down considerably over the weekend This is not a cheap method of broadband but unfortunately is our only option. It's about time the government followed through with their promises and installed fibre in these remote areas where there is no mobile signal
I’d like your price to be lower especially as we will have fibre broadband next year
Most of the time the connection is very good and up to maximum strength. On days when there is cloud cover and no wind it can be difficult, if not impossible, to get a connection.
Terrible signal and I was oversold this solution. It is slow and barely works for most of the time. It has never delivered what was promised.
Always find the staff at Bentley Walker friendly and helpful. The Service is second to none. First class
Recently we have had some outages which were unexpected and this has been somewhat frustrating. However prior to this, we had no problems at all.
I did not experience any downtime with service. Download and upload speeds were consistently great. Very swift with responding to customer's questions. I roamed with the wireless router from Southampton to London and finally to Newcastle without a glitch in service.
Hi -We signed up with (expletive deleted) service provider when we first moved away from dial-up maybe fifteen years ago or more. Them were the days; the telephone bills ran up by the kids almost had us living in a pothole and eating gravel for breakfast. The service provided by our (expletive deleted) provider was bad to begin with and gradually got worse. When Q-sat arrived we signed up at once as we could see the sky from our house. The service from Q-sat and later F-sat has always been excellent; it may have been limited in present day terms but it was sufficient to our needs. Problems that arose over the years were few and far between. Techie support always was really supportive the few times a problem arose; the techie support people always were very 'supportive' and knowledgeable. We are leaving F-sat with a great deal of regret but the satellite link has died of old age and would cost a fair bit to replace. Our new link seems to have little or no techie support available; this may be a problem at some stage for someone who started his working life as a boy milking cows by hand in candlelight. (tell that to a modern kid and you may have to explain the terms "milking", "cows", "by hand" and "candlelight") As mentioned, we are leaving with a great deal of regret. The satellite has been something of an old friend for many years. We may be back! Slan agus beannacht. James and Ann Farrell.
