On a recent visit to Sandy Park I was amazed at how good the facilities are, slightly pricy - but first class. For the very first minute, we were welcomed into the stadium by a jolly fellow named Kevin. He appeared to be a member of the management of the club. The staff at the turnstiles were very good and dealt with a QR code failure quickly and efficiently. We stood in the East Terrace and had a wonderful day despite a loss on the pitch. Whilst there, there was a serious medical incident in the crowd near us which was dealt with quickly and effectively with the same guy (Kevin) making sure the person was comfortable and reassuring members of the crowd. I would thoroughly recommend spending the day at Exeter Chiefs, but bring your wallet because you’ll spend a few bob to eat and drink.
Terrible experience with their shop. Had a pair of bottoms and top (£58.79) for a kids Xmas present. They were too small and, yes, we were delayed in exchanging them. Just beyond 30 days. Sadly, the Chiefs were no help. We didn’t want a refund or anything else - just an exchange for a bigger size. Met with a stern no. How sad not to do this for a young fan. Ironically, we will now fund another pair and defend our child from the nastiness of a club he idolises. Thanks Chiefs. Watching the games won’t feel the same again - all over something so trivial!
I paid £78 each for two hospitality tickets to watch the England Red Roses match against USA. Complete rip off. Beware restricted view seating in what is supposed to be VIP seating! I should have purchased the standard £10 seats! I did write to Chiefs shortly after…no one has complained before was the reply!
I bought a trip to the Rugby for my husbands birthday present. We had never been it was on our bucket list andhe Saracens and Chiefs were playing a big match on the weekend of his birthday. Not a cheap ticket though and we were both very excited. The day before the match we were told the Sarcens were being replaced by Bristol Wasps after they had gone into liquidation. We were promised a good match though and the team to meet around the grounds. Get their early all the information said as there is lots to do and see to make your game experience special. Our afternoon turned out to be very different. Not the first team at all. Hardly any supporters turned up. The food on offer was dreadful. We tired desperately to enjoy the match anyway but it was by alongway from the game we booked and paid for. I wrote to The Cheifs and complained that we nerver even got to meet the first team and could we either have a refund or credit so that we could come again another day. No they said. I even asked again for a half price ticket to a big game and they havent replied. Its no wonder the game is suffering if this is the attitude of the team. We were potentially avid Rugby supporters but not now.
