Bad business DriveTime Taylor

I was sold a vehicle that had the check engine light on and faint ticking coming from the hood. Vehicle didn’t have check engine light during test drive on Friday. Next day, I paid my down payment got insurance and did the walk through before taking the vehicle, I noticed the check engine light during the walk through. Sales person advises they can’t sell me the car with the check engine light present, but the transaction was done so they did sell me a car with the check engine light present. They took the vehicle to the shop and told me they would call me Monday. Never received a call Monday and when I called in I was told vehicle wouldn’t be ready til end of week with no accommodation. I asked for my refund and still haven’t received my refund. I’ve been told multiple times that my money should be in my bank account, when I speak wit my banking institution, there’s no money pending. It’s been over a week and I’ve still yet to receive my refund. I’ve gotten my lawyer involved. If it was going to take some time for me to get my refund, just say that but through the entire experience after paying my down payment I was treated like they didnt want my business or as if It’s not their problem anymore. Do better!

Sales contact was Bev. It was was a pleasure dealing with her. She obviously knew her stuff and was very helpful and patient with me and my husband. Will refer my family and friends.

Nicholas was very informative and…

Nicholas was very informative and helpful. He made our experience pleasant. I am sad that the extra ammenities, the full gas tank, the oil changed and the detailing that happened with our last purchase has been stopped. They made DriveTime stand out against their fellow used car dealers. That being said, Nicholas was great.

Very smooth process

After a week of STRESSFULLY looking for a new car(because insurance literally gave me 8 days) I have finally found something. I am so in love with this car it’s not too big and not too small, just right for what I wanted. Let me brag on my sales rep and how awesome she has made this experience for me!! She was so patient and didn’t pressure me into anything. She gave me multiple options to pick from and even explained everything to me. We did a side by side comparison of two cars that I liked, I went back and forth for several minutes and she was so sweet/understanding about it... even when I’m sure I would’ve stressed myself out. Man, it’s rare to find a sales rep in this industry who doesn’t pressure you about a sale. So, If you’re in the DFW area(Plano) and looking for a car head over and talk to Yolanda first desk to the left when you walk in!!!!! Thank Yolanda 😊

My dream come throught, Well, I just want to take thius time to thank the 2025 S.Decatur Blvd, Drive Time Manager Taurs Johns and his staffs, Darien R.W, Adrian S and Richard H, most especialy Darien who started all by talking to me on the phone before going in. They make my dream come throught by helping me get my car faster and easy with low down payment and low payment. Selling bad cars and they don't care…

Selling bad cars and they don't care who they sell too. If you buy from here you'll get a lemon. You'll have it in the shop every month! They don't check their cars, they barely clean em. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE.

The experience was fast professional and most importantly pressure free. Zach was easy to speak with and addressed all of my concerns. Zach made it easy to pull the trigger on a car purchase. Highly recommend.

EXTREME CAUTION, DO NOT BUY

Use EXTREME CAUTION! DO NOT GO THROUGH DRIVETIME! Update after roughly 6 months after the purchase. Went to do the first oil change and found the drain plug was rounded off and also found an oil leak. Figured I would use the warranty. Took the my van to a repair shop in network with silver rock (warranty company), shop said it was the time cover leaking, they submitted the claim to silver rock and come to find out the warranty that Drivetime sets up with silver rock is less then garbage. I got stuck with a $2700 bill after only a few months into the purchase and yet Drivetime is still expecting me to make my payments of $606 a month, after calling them didn't care at all and just said sorry! long story short I regret making the purchase through Drivetime! Drivetime as a company shows their true care about what they are selling and how very little they care about their customers after the purchase. I am paying extremely too much for the vehicle of over $26,000 for what? The warranty only covers entire engine or transmission replacement that's it, all other repairs are on the buyer. Even the shop my van is at told me silver rock should've covered the repairs but because of Drivetime it isn't!

BUYERS BEWARE!!

BUYERS BEWARE!!! The sales people are nice and accommodating. THAT is the sugar coating on the crap cars they are selling at premium prices. My first car was a 2016 Buick Envision and the wheel bearing went out before I even got home the first day. That tells me that no type of pre-inspection, or safety inspection was done prior to sale. I had to cancel a flight that nightvto return the car the nexu day. I lost $400 on that on that plane ticket. I traded it for a 2016 Ford Fusion AWD. I I got 200 miles from home and had a blow out. When I went to change the tire the spare was gone and in its place was a slime tire rescue kit. When I called DriveTime in Reno. I was told that I needed to use what they provided. When I told them that it was a sidewall blowout, I was told sorry but there was nothing they could do. Good luck on your trip... IF YOU ARE BUYING A CAR FROM DRIVETIME CHECK THE CAR OVER THROUGHLY. CHECK THE TIRES CHECK THE SPARE CHECK THE OIL (mine only has 13%) TEST DRIVE AT HIGH SPEED, AND TURNS. Due you due diligence. Because they WILL SELL YOU AN UNSAFE CAR!!! BUYERS BEWARE

Arianna was the best!!!

My car broke down on my way to work and since it was an older model car I was already in the process of looking for something else but not this soon. I had a time limit when I visited the Collins location in Nashville cuz my mom brought me but she had to pick my niece up at a certain time so anyway I let Arianna know (the one that was helping me with my car search) and she was able to get me out of there in no time..Not only was she professional but she was kind, courteous, friendly and fast..she really took care of me and helped me choose the right car. Usually it takes hours to get into a car but it took her no time and she was truly generous, understanding and made me her number 1 priority to get me in and out of there..thanks to her and the staff there and in the Gallatin location for having the best and friendliest customer service I ever experienced..I definitely recommend both Drivetime locations for your car shopping.

Drive time some bumps in the road but it was a good outcome

I gave it a 4 cause although the salesman Naaman was great, overall what information I left out with on 10/5 wasn’t the same when I returned to pick up my car on 10/11, other than that I got a good ride and pretty much no hassle and the customer service was good als. I’ll recommend
