DriveTime Car Sales

This was the best car buying experience that we have had. We were looking at a car in a different state. We went into a location nearby and they processed everything and we selected a vehicle. We put the vehicle on hold and drove to the other state 2 days later and we have our new car. They gave us options for down payment, payment date, and amount.

Service was awesome

Throughout the whole process, I was taken care of.

Everything was good,the time took longer than expected. But after a week is when the problems started. Now im stuck with a vehicle that is damaged,for false advertising. And they do run your credit after the fact they said that it’s based on income. Joe smith at Plymouth Meeting has not been trying to contact me back.i regret leasing a vehicle with DriveTime. SMH

The agents at the Des Monies location handle themselves in a very professional manner. They really go beyond to make sure the customer is happy and comfortable with their new vehicle. I am now a loyal customer with Drive Time. Would have been a great move to have Drive Time on my previous purchases. Thanks

If there were zero stars, I would give you zero stars. Do not buy a car from here. They were great and friendly until there’s a problem. I had my car for 21 days and it is still sitting in a shop and no one can help me. They give you numbers, the runaround, and everything under the sun, but if there is a problem they will not support you. Run fast, buy from anybody else but them. Horrible. I see that they have responded to my review telling me to call customer service, which was also a joke. Basically told me there was nothing they could do to help!! The warranties are a joke and they do not take care of their customers. Last week when I called, they turf to me to the finance company, and they even tried to turf me to the warranty company. Ultimately nobody can help. Just run.

It was a great experience. From the moment of arrival...Edwin was courteous. Helping me to choose what vehicle was best for me, work with me through the whole process...from beginning to end...to when he gave me the keys to my car.

Oh better watch out with this company!! Don't get the warranty stuff! It's VERY deceptive. They tell you if you don't get it you can't add it but taking it off is the worst run around I've ever been through in my life!! If gotten different answers everywhere and somehow the hold times are long no matter who you call??? Then once you remove the warranty, your monthly payments will stay the same! You just pay off the loan sooner! Make sure you take the car back within 5 days or you are stuck!

My Car died after a week

This was the quickest and easiest car buying experience I've had. They were short staffed the evening of my appointment, so I'm not holding that against them. I had reserved a vehicle 3 days earlier and it sold before I could test drive. I was disappointed. I didn't know I had to put money down to hold a vehicle. When I reserved my last car at CarMax, it was there for me a week later. However, despite that, it worked out for the best. The car I ended up buying was a few years older, but better, in my opinion. The terms I was given online didn't end up being accurate. My payment ended up being a little more than I expected. I brought my husband as a co-buyer and my salesman didn't seem to think I needed to put him on the application. That would have tripled my income for the application, so I feel a little cheated there. I'm not completely sure how their terms are actually determined, so it may not have made a difference. Overall, a great experience and I would buy from here again.
