Great experience overall. I noticed one of the side view mirrors didn’t automatically move like the other. When I asked the sales woman and made up something about most cars park on the right and that’s why they both don’t work. Lol. I knew that was false and was just hoping for the truth. It just doesn’t work🤷🏽♀️. Friendly staff. Smooth processes. I still recommend. Honesty is always the best policy.
Brad and Carlo were great! Made the experience great. The only derogatory thing I have is whoever does your inspection on your vehicles when they come in needs to be fired, The 2014 Ford Escape I got was a disaster, The engine mounts and transmission mounts rocker arm all the belts brakes radiator fluid brake fluid was bad as hell. I called Brad and he told me to call silverrock I took my car to the Firestone in Dothan Al. Silverrock paid for all the repairs except the brakes... Which sucks they said it was normal wear and tear. At this point you would think your company that sold an unsafe car to begin with would like to have a total satisfied customer! But you don't silence you/ the company will not make the brakes good, For some reason this is not the case. I can send the Firestone report to you if you like. I was in need of a vehicle and decided to give drivetime a chance as per their commercials there is no credit ding which is a LIE!! I had a credit hit by them before purchasing the vehicle. Their commercial states you choose your monthly payment, LIE!! You dont get to choose your monthly payment as I was informed by an employee that every $500 down is 0.25% off the APR with a maximum of 9% off the APR. Paying 28% interest with zero down and taking advantage of those with bait and switch tactics. This is used for everybody that comes in for a vehicle. The warranty they have with Silver Rock does not cover what they say they do. I paid $1,600 for repairs involving turbo intake lines, valve cover replacement, valve seal, camshaft seal that was SUPPOSED to be cover and they refused to cover the cost. Now the vehicle needs a new turbo and almost at the end of my warranty of 50,000 miles or years whichever is first. Payments for a used 2020 Equinox is $756 month and you pay approx $3400 for the warranty which is included in the purchase price. Monthly payment with the insurance I am paying close to $1,000 month. Besides my issues, an ex-family member purchased one with replacement brakes, rotors within the first week of getting theirs and warranty did not cover that cost for them.

Set it up over the phone drove hours and rented a car to go get the new car we were gonna purchase they had nothing ready, car wouldn’t start and they kept us there for 4 hours when they told me including the manager and I was told all I would need to do is come in sign the paperwork and drive off but that’s not how it went at all. I would never recommend drivetime to anyone

My experience was great with DriveTime in Lauderdale Lakes, FL. I worked with both Henry and Derek. If you have issues with your credit, they will work with you. If you have an issue with bankruptcy, including an open chapter 13, they will work with you. Do your research, learn everything about the car you are interested in before you buy it, including the free report they provide you with. I highly recommend DriveTime.

Price of car was high compared to blue book value I paid 14 thousand. When other dealers had the same car with less or same miles for about 9 thousand .. also the car is a 2015 .. it's now 2024 .. which is an 9 year old car .. but I'm trying to get credit reestablished so I thank drive time for opportunity
